C'est l'une des institutions du quartier chinois de Port Louis, fréquentée de la communauté asiatique locale comme un gage d'authenticité et de qualité. Son nom fait foi de sa longévité puisqu'elle fut l'une des toutes premières tables ouvertes par les immigrants chinois dans la capitale. Comme toujours dans ce type de restaurant, la carte offre un choix kilométrique de plats variés préparés ici dans les règles de l'art. La salle, climatisée et baignée de lumière, se tient au deuxième étage d'un bâtiment des vieux quartiers et décline une décoration cosy agréable.

We had not been there in 17 years. The dishes are still very good. Among the starters we recommend the seafood rolls as they are different from the usual ones. The soups are excellent and served in generous portions (for the same price other restaurants give you barely one portion, not a whole bowl).
Finally great work by the management in maintaining a relaxing atmosphere inside by playing jazz-like music instead of the noise you will hear elsewhere.
They have a good menu consisting of 109 dishes. We took some time to go through it and choose the food!!
We ordered - fried rice 'first' style and rice Chinese style with chicken and shrimp with sausages. The fried rice was really good and the other one was just 'okay'.
Washrooms are available which are good and clean.
The service was also good.
The problems you might face are noticeability and parking. They don't provide parking, we need to find a spot to park our vehicle. The restaurant is situated in the first floor of the building. On the ground floor, there will be only a door and the borad. Take the stairs and get there.
