Un petit hôtel de charme tout près de l église de Cap malheureux. Chambre très confortable face à une jolie piscine dans un écrin de verdure avec plein d oiseaux et de libellules. Petit déjeuner à la carte délicieux. Merci au propriétaire pour son acceuil. On ne manquera pas de revenir !

A little piece of Heaven on Earth!
We stayed at The Good Life for 5 nights and it was nothing but perfect!
This place is so beautiful, calm, relaxing and cozy. You feel welcome from the very first moment. The hosts - as well as all the other staff - are extremely friendly and helpful, giving you so much good information and tips at any time! Thank you so much for that! The rooms are just lovely, especially the superior rooms right at the poolside. The pool area is wonderful, full of plants, birds and dragonflies. We loved that the Good Life is so small, this makes you feel like home. Breakfast was great and so different to breakfast in bigger hotels – everything is being freshly and lovingly prepared for you. Whenever we visit Mauritius again, we will definitely come back to get lost in this paradise!

Merci à Antoine et son épouse pour leur accueil et leur hospitalité. Le séjour était parfait et ils nous ont beaucoup aidé pour trouver les bonnes choses à faire autour de cap Malheureux.
De plus, l'hotel est propre, chaleureux et idéalement situé. Il est aussi en contraste avec les gros resorts autour. Ce qui est vraiment bien si vous recherchez quelque chose de plus simple et authentique.

Wunderschöne kleine Lodge - toll um aus dem Alltag rauszukommen.
- Service war einzigartig
- Sehr sauber
- Klein und mit Liebe gebaut
- Super Internet (auch für Video Calls, wir mussten arbeiten und hatten wichtige Meetings - hat alles geklappt!)

Antoine war ein Supergastgeber, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Magnifique endroit pour venir brunch si vous venez dans le Nord de l’île. Tout était excellent avec des produits frais ????.

Don’t hesitate to stay here if you are going to Mauritius! This is a beautiful spot, full of wonderful plants and greenery and is very well maintained. The hosts/owners and the other staff are all very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely welcoming and helpful, taking the time to provide many tips and explaining more about the island. The included breakfast was delicious, and (depending on what you get!) very healthy. I loved the north of Mauritius, and this was really not far from anything, and there are terrific beaches and water access nearby. Having a car is very helpful though to appreciate all the island has to offer! The eco-friendly atmosphere was great, although my only (minor) complaint was about rule re: air conditioning usage during the day. I get it, but Mauritius is hot and humid, but it seemed fine and I of course turned it off when I left for the day. The internet was occasionally inconsistent as times (I had to switch networks a few times) but overall worked fine. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable, with nice and thoughtful touches. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay!

I have never stayed in an Eco resort before and was worried about what sacrifices this would entail. However, was spoiled... I have stayed at some great hotels and resorts around the world and have to say I was very impressed by the level of service and care that the team provided. nothing seemed to much effort, The breakfast was outstanding and the room had everything that I needed. Sadly, the kitchen was closed in the evenings but there are places within walking distance nearby. I was only there for a couple of days (work) but will make sure I book again if I ever come back.
