However the food that was served to patrons looked good.
Prices are average.
Great spot if you have little children as there is a bouncy house, jungle gym and swings.
There are a lot of quaint shops around there.
We bought cold meats, cheese and bread next door.
The setting is very pretty with ample parking.
Franchement très copieux et très bon.
Nos enfants ont pu jouer dans le parc à jeux qui se trouve dans le Vanilla café.
We waited 25 minutes. No one took our order. Orders of people who came after us were taken. They are more eager to clean tables of people who were leaving than to take orders of those who came in. We decided to leave.
Service = 0. I don't recommend at all.
The restaurant was far from full so no excuse.
Thank you for making us loosing our time.
And their shop has glutenfree bread and burgers buns????
Bons plats, service assez rapide
Live jazz un dimanche midi
Coin jeux pour enfants sans voiture ????????
Restaurant has a variety of vegan options, but the kitchen closes at 3pm. So make sure you travel timeously so that you do not miss ordering food.
There is a cute play area for children whilst parents enjoy their drinks and meals.
Friendly staff.
There is a cute little pet shop in the centre as well.
The venue is well laid out with a few pop up shops and a few rooms available as a b&b.
One of the most beautiful and tranquil restaurants to sit at and enjoy a meal.
Service staff are courteous, professional and pleasant.
Please support this little gem of a venue in the Black River area.
Nestled in the heart of Vanilla Village, the Vanilla Café offers an eclectic selection of seating areas - it’s not uncommon to see people working on tablets and laptop devices.
On occasion, there is live music which adds to the ambience on weekends.
It’s complimented by a menu featuring eats and treats for all preferences and budgets - vegan, vegetarian, sugar and meat lovers etc. and a kids’ menu. Occasionally, some items on the menu are not available.
The coffee is fresh and the food is delicious. Their selection of cakes are baked by a local baker - all delicious. Their iced tea is worth a try too - very refreshing!
Whilst the service may be a little slow, it’s not bothersome as the venue is relaxing and all the waitrons are amicable.
There are also some friendly cats and some chickens around for the kids to amuse themselves. It gives the place a farm feel.
Definitely worth regular visits!
On a positive note, the breakfast menu offered a variety of options, and the food I ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a pleasant dining experience overall. The café's cozy atmosphere and tasteful decor also added to the charm of the place.
Despite the coffee falling short of my expectations, I would still recommend Vanilla Café Restaurant for breakfast due to its inviting ambiance and delectable food. Perhaps they can work on improving the coffee to make it a truly exceptional dining destination.
