Géré par un Islandais installé depuis plus de vingt ans en Ouganda, le 2 Friends Beach Hotel est une bien jolie adresse. Les chambres, à proximité d'une petite piscine exclusive, sont pourvues d'un réfrigérateur, d'une moustiquaire, d'une théière, d'une télévision et d'un ventilateur (ou d'un climatiseur). De l'autre côté de la rue, l'esthétique restaurant-bar de l'hôtel est un endroit calme (hormis le samedi lorsque se produisent des musiciens ou lors de la retransmission d'événements sportifs) où il fait bon déguster un tilapia fraîchement pêché.

Entebbe is found on the northern section of Lake Victoria – the largest lake in Africa.

To reach Entebbe town from the airport, you will need to hire an airport taxi for about $10. While in town, there are three modes of transport – by boda boda, special hire or public minibuses.
Getting decent accommodation in Entebbe for long term use is not easy and can be quiet expensive. This is partly because of the large UN personnel living and working in the town.
