LEOPARD REST CAMP

Positives :
- The hotel is very well located, just a 2-3 minute drive from the park entrance, in a superb natural setting.
- The two-story wooden structure housing the lobby and dining room is superb, beautifully decorated, cozy, and it offers a stunning view of both the surrounding area and the weaverbirds and their spherical nests.
- The safari tents are pretty and welcoming. Showering, using the toilet and brushing your teeth in the adjacent open-air bathroom is a real treat (except when it's raining!).
- Despite power breaks due to the limitations of solar-powered systems, we were lucky to have hot showers at all times.
- The meals are really delicious and hearty! (A special mention for the chef's soups, which are particularly tasty and enjoyable when it gets cold at night!)
- Vitaliy and the staff who serve meals are extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. Vitaliy's emails prior to our arrival were very prompt, clear and helpful.
Negatives :
- In our first tent, the bedding wasn't very clean unfortunately (e.g. yellow stains and lizard droppings). It was much better in the safari tent that we moved to on the second day.
- Our lazy camping tent did not have a mosquito net, contrary to the safari tent.
- In a lodge which strives to be ecofriendly, it would be great to be able to get potable water from water dispensers rather than from disposable plastic bottles.
