This is one of the best places to relax when in Jinja with a magnificent view of the Nile River, ,nice staff, good fresh and organic food picked directly from their own gardens and good customer care.. Their location is good for a community village bike tour which can be organized by Jinja Bike Tours and Safaris..

Very poor road access… very narrow almost impassable… after the struggle to find the place with invisible signs post right from the main road. You get to the place and they tell you it’s fully booked out… that you can’t stay on their premises to even sit down to catch a breather ????????

Wonderful place with unique view of the Nile river. Staff is super friendly, one of the best food in Uganda and great vibe.

The property is a hidden gem on the banks of the river Nile, not too far away from the main road. It has stunning views of the river and a nice swimming pool to relax. They serve an appetizing 3 course meal that you can pre-plan with the chef, they do amazing gazpacho soups for starters and chocolate molten cake for dessert!

nice cozy place on the Nile. a easy 30 mins drive from Jinja. Room rates are from $180-240 FB for 2 people. We had gone for a day trip to have Lunch which you have to book in advance. a three course lunch costs $30 which is prepared fresh & is delicious ????. They have a small swimming pool too.

Great lodge

Overall nice, comfortable and accommodating of requests.

Felt the 'royal cottage' lacked air circulation... Small windows and no fan. Bed was a bit hard. But it was clean and the water pressure very acceptable.

Food was of very good standard. Beer was cold but not the soft drinks and ice was in short supply.

Would recommend it none the less.

We highly recommend Kipling Lodge. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant (chefs and servers) did an excellent job catering to a low carb/keto lifestyle with the meals. The setting is beautiful with a view of the Nile River and VERY relaxing. The Kipling Lodge was a delightful place for our 3 day outing. (They even gave a price discount for our 3 day stay,)

Kipling has an Amazing chef/cuisine . Really loved the meals. The sounds of the birds together with the water really took my breath away. The outdoor massage with the view of River Nile was everything I had dreamed of????????
