Mooie B&B met sfeervolle -eiland Stromboli- omgeving. Klantvriendelijk personeel en lekker ontbijt op eigen terras. Uitzichten vanaf dakterras zijn ook mooi. Zwembad al langer in onderhoud dus onbruikbaar voor ons. Matrassen liggen flink hard; moet je van houden. Niet goedkoop, wel z'n prijs waard zo.

Luogo fantastico,degno della splendida isola che lo accoglie. Camere spaziose,pulite e dotate di ogni confort, piscina vista vulcano, terrazze sopra le camere vista mare,da un lato, e vulcano dall'altro. Cura dei particolari che rendono il soggiorno una coccola continua , compresa l'ottima cucina del cuoco che in base al pescato del giorno lavora dei piatti magnifici al palato. Staff eccezionale tutto, ma una menzione in più meritano i proprietari, sempre presenti e pronti a rendere indimenticabile il soggiorno .

An absolutely paradisic, romantic little hotel. Super friendly staff and owner, good food, nice, gigantic room with ktichen, two baths, perfect for romantic people or for all those who search beauty and peace. From the roof, you see the majestic stromboli, the pittoresque village and the sea. Wonderful pool area.
Close to the beach, it is also well suited for an evening walk to the place, where you see the majestic stromboli with his eruptions in the dark.

Lo scorso Giugno il Gabbiano ha ospitato il ricevimento del nostro matrimonio… chiamarlo “ricevimento”, tuttavia, risulta decisamente riduttivo perché essere ospiti del Gabbiano è stato per noi e per i nostri invitati tutti come sentirsi accolti, coccolati, abbracciati. Il sapiente e raffinato tocco di Federica, la proprietaria, aiutata anche dalla figlia Elisa e del marito Vito, indispensabile aiuto affinché tutto andasse per il meglio, si percepisce in tutto ciò che è il Gabbiano e in tutto ciò che sono stati quei due giorni presso la struttura: i fiori, la decorazione delle camere, la sobrietà del tavolo addobbato per la cena nuziale, l’aperitivo in riva al mare la sera precedente al matrimonio, la pulizia delle camere, lo staff sempre disponibile a venire incontro a tutte le esigenze nostre e dei nostri ospiti. Avere Federica a fianco (ed era veramente al nostro fianco, in ogni momento, silenziosa ma costante, presente e decisiva) è stato un regalo infinitamente rassicurante. Stromboli ha confermato le nostre aspettative, con Iddu che ha interrotto il nero della notte strombolana tingendo le stelle con le sue mille sfumature di rosso, il mare frizzante di Giugno, un vento pieno di vita che ha spazzato via le nuvole e ci ha scompigliato i capelli, i mille colori di un tramonto veramente mozzafiato, le pomelie in fiore e i gatti dell’isola a farci compagnia per le strade. Per tutto questo io e Danilo l’avevamo scelta per ospitare il nostro matrimonio e di tutto questo ci eravamo perdutamente innamorati… quello che non sapevamo è che Stromboli ci avrebbe fatto un altro regalo, fra i mille, donandoci il privilegio di conoscere un’anima bella e delicata e forte come quella di Federica; sin dalla prima telefonata è stato come parlare con una vecchia amica che ti conosce da sempre e che ti legge nell’animo: è stata capace di rispondere veramente a tutte le nostre richieste, di placare le mie ansie facendo chiarezza nei miei pensieri e di assecondare la leggerezza di mio marito trovando delle soluzioni concrete alle sue idee e che venissero incontro ai bisogni di entrambi. Il tutto condito da risate, leggerezza, tanta cura e un grande e istintivo maternage. Ogni ricordo del nostro matrimonio è legato indissolubilmente a Federica e al Gabbiano, in ogni momento c’è un fiore, un colore di quel posto, che è l’unico al mondo in cui personalmente percepisco tanta pace, grazia e connessione profonda con la natura. Il tutto con i piedi a mollo nell’acqua e davanti agli occhi un vulcano attivo, accompagnati da ottimo, gustosissimo cibo, buon vino, in una cornice veramente unica al mondo. Non potrò mai essere grata abbastanza. Grazie di tutto, Federica, e grazie a tutto lo staff unico del Gabbiano! In un momento particolarmente emotivo, siete stati per me fonte di grande serenità e per tutti noi Casa. ????

We negotiated a better rate for a last minute booking, which we really appreciated being able to do; but there was a lack of welcome from anyone from the reception. Someone was there to let us into our room but it wasn't the main person, and so we weren't given any info about the hotel or what was nearby, or how to contact them if we needed something. For instance we needed drinking water and could not find any way to request another bottle, and were stuck late at night without any. The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the location was convenient for only 1 activity (boat rental from a specific company) otherwise it was far from town.

The place is quiet, relaxing, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is also excellent. The breakfast is very good, delivered to the rooms every morning. And most important: this place is made up of wonderful people, always ready to meet your needs. Thank you! Highly recommend

Assolutamente confortevole e pulito.

I was with a group of 10 people sea kayaking the Aeolian Islands. Stayed here for 3 nights. Fredericka and her staff could not have been more accommodating. We had an early ferry so Fredericka made sure to deliver breakfast, including fresh croissants, the night before we left. Great pool with a great view. Make sure to have dinner by the pool. The chef is outstanding. I would not hesitate to return.

Un hôtel splendide, les extérieurs sont magnifiques (piscine à débordement et décoration des parties communes). Notre chambre avait un charmant extérieur qui donnait sur la piscine.
La chambre et le petit salon sont très bien décorés. La literie est bonne.
Nous avons regretté l’accueil vraiment minimaliste. On était en basse saison mais tout de même, nous sommes dans un 4 étoiles, on attend un minimum de service.
Tout d’abord, on a demandé qu’une excursion en bateau soit organisée, le monsieur qui nous a accueilli a téléphoné devant nous et nous a donné 2 prénoms de personnes dont une devait nous attendait au port. Nous n’avons même pas eu les numéros de téléphone que nous avons trouvés par nous-mêmes dans le livret d’accueil, heureusement car, arrivés au port, il a fallu que j’appelle les 2 numéros afin de savoir qui nous prenait en charge.
Autre déception : Lors de la réservation, j’ai eu un échange écrit avec une employée qui m’a dit qu’elle me faisait le même tarif que la centrale de réservation bien connue. Néanmoins elle m’a assuré qu’elle nous surclasserait si une meilleure chambre était libre. Arrivés dans cet hôtel, on nous a dit qu’une arrivée était prévue donc aucune possibilité d’upgrade, aucun surclassement. Pourtant il n’y avait presque personne à l’hôtel !! D’ailleurs c’était vérifiable sur leur site de réservation. Le lendemain matin, lors de notre départ à 10:00, les chambres étaient toujours vides… Donc il n’y a eu aucun geste agréable de la part de cet hôtel. Aujourd’hui, l’upgrade / le surclassement est la règle de tout établissement qui se respecte, surtout lorsque l’on réserve en direct, sans passer par une centrale de réservation ou une agence de voyage.

I wish I could give them more starts ! Such an incredible place! Very clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and the view is breathtaking! Definitely the best accommodation in Stromboli!
