I visited the Hotel St Vincent with my good friend for two nights last week and it was a dream! The staff (from the front desk to room service to bartenders) were friendly & helpful, the entire hotel smelled amazing, pool vibes were gorgeous, food & drinks were on point and hotel location is the BEST in all of New Orleans. Brandon helped us get sorted with a reservation and was so so kind.
Truly one of the best short trips I’ve ever taken.

This might be the best boutique hotel in New Orleans. Amazing food/bev options, hip rooms, best location in the city and great event venues as well.

This hotel is aesthetically beautiful and bar staff are lovely but that's about where it ends. Stayed here during my wedding. When we asked about an ironing board we were told (quite curtly) by the staff at reception "we might be able to find one" they seemed annoyed that we had the audacity to ask. Beds are uncomfortable which is surprising given the price. We weren't notified about a flea market happening in the car park the day of our check out and were lucky we JUST made it out before our car would have been unable to move. The clincher is months after my stay when myself and my credit card were in another country they made a fraudulent charge on it. This hotel is not trustworthy.

hotel saint vincent is a vibe. the aesthetic is sooo cute and charming, the staff is wonderful. I enjoyed my room. The beds are incredibly comfortable. My only complaint is the lighting, I wish it was brighter and there was more. It’s very sexy in the room LOL. The italian margarita is the best margarita i’ve ever had in my life. I did expect a little more for the rate but I enjoyed this property. Super happy I was able to experience it.

I attended a reception for the undergraduate school I attended. The event was very nice. Food and drink were provided and the location was in a building on the grounds behind the main building. It was a nice place to mingle, eat and drink in a pleasant, casual atmosphere. I would love to see more of the main building because the glimpse I had as I passed through was very well done.

This recently renovated hotel was such a vibe! Booked two nights after new years when I saw they had a special, otherwise it’s a bit outside my price range. The staff at the front desk were SO helpful and one even escorted us to our room and gave us great intel for local bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is super walkable and close to the trolley as well as on the bus line. Late check out (noon) was great and they accommodated an early check in for us at no extra charge. Too bad the weather was too cold for the pool otherwise we’d be hanging out there every afternoon!

We stayed at the Hotel Saint Vincent for a week during our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful and is in a wonderful location. There's a nice coffee shop across the street and if you like to walk, you can easily make your way to several restaurants, bars, retail and even more coffee shops. We also walked from the hotel, into the French Quarter for a little early morning exercise. I felt very safe in this neighborhood. We always enjoy staying in the Garden District. The food is excellent as well as the service. We ate dinner and breakfast several times at San Lorenzo. We also enjoyed drinks while sitting at the Paradise Lounge. My only negative feedback would be the rooms. We had a Courtyard King. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sheets were soft, although I wish there had been an additional blanket available, in the wardrobe perhaps. The bathrobes are thin, which is fine for the summer but it would have been nice to have warmer bathrobes for the cooler weather. They were also a bit worn out. The room was very dark. Dark grey paint covers the walls from floor to ceiling. The lack of lighting in the room kept everything dim, I felt like I was in a cave. Even the bathroom lighting is insufficient for shaving or putting on makeup. The shower was amazing, excellent water pressure. Although, you have to turn the handle all the way to the left and around the fixture to get hot water. Then to turn off the water, I had to force the handle all the way back around. I felt like I had to manhandle the thing. It's obviously seen some wear and tear and needs replacing sooner, rather than later. A small vanity mirror for putting on makeup or for men to use while shaving, would be nice. Also, the lighting needs improvement, at least in the bathroom. I felt like at times, the hotel focused more on being "Instagram ready" than functional. They did offer a blowdryer but there were zero attachments.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

They have no signs in their parking lot regarding towing, no communication to restaurant guests, and will tow your vehicle. (Car was left from 8pm-9:30 am after a few glasses of wine)
They WILL illegally tow your car and it will end up in the most dangerous part of the city with bullet holes/ shattered car windows/ etc.
Staff and management is rude as well.
Also with no signs about towing.. they sure do it illegally!
The Louisiana law states:
C. Property owners who tow unauthorized vehicles from their property or parking areas shall place signage in clearly visible locations at the entrances and exits to such property warning motorists that unauthorized vehicles may be towed. If the property has specific parking areas or parking spaces where vehicles are subject to be towed, the specific parking area or parking space that a vehicle is subject to be towed from must also be clearly marked warning the motorist their vehicle may be towed. Such warning shall include signage in each designated parking area or the marking of the individual parking spaces in these specific parking areas. A property owner or his authorized representative who enters into contracts or agreements with a tow truck company to engage in tow-related services and activities shall place signage in clearly visible locations at the entrances and exits to such property or parking areas warning motorists that unauthorized vehicles may be towed. The signage shall include the name, address, and phone number of the towing company in lettering no less than two inches in height.

DO NOT PARK HERE!! THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS .. BUT THEY ILLEGALLY TOW YOUR CAR! Went here for drinks this Saturday it was ok. I asked a receptionist where the entrance was and she asked if i parked in the lot. I said yes. She said to make sure my car was picked up in the morning. (Didn’t say why or what time) the bar was ok. It was crowded & there was nowhere to sit. Fast forward to a few drinks later & I ubered home so I wouldn’t drive. I went to pick up my car the next morning at 9:30 am and there was an unexpected pop up shop in the lot. My car was towed. There was no communication to me that this was going on & that my car would’ve been towed otherwise i wouldn’t have parked there! They should have had signs, they should have communicated an event was going on, and they should’ve given me a time when i spoke to them. $250 and a tow later… the worst part of it all, the tow company they use… is in the straight ghetto with cars/ shattered, bullet holes through the windows, very sketchy.
Management was rude and not at all helpful. She pretty much said “well i talked to you and told you to make sure your car was picked up in the morning” i assumed that meant for people not to park their illegally & not to keep it there bc of guests. NOT ONCE did she say why it needed to be gone/ time/ or that there was any event going on that day.
I will never go back & don’t recommend anyone does. Service and people here are terrible.
Next time maybe have (huge) signs that you have an event going on and close the parking lot completely the day before. Or maybe have signs that you will tow your car if it’s parked there from 8pm-9am…
This all could have been avoided with communication ($220 and 5 hours of my time trying to get my car). But they do not care anyways.
PS. Nobody wants to shop in a parking lot anyways…

Nope. I loved this place. Now it's lost all of its charm and new orleans feel. Lame. A true legend lost. Give me my damn slide back.
