Not the best not the worst. Room was a little dirty and the mattress is worn out, the shower handle fell off when I turned it and I had to pay for basic hotel coffee. someone pulled the alarms at 4am as a false alarm and it continued to go off for a while. The staff that checks us in did give us a credit and some additional pts for the inconvenience so appreciated that gesture.

Stayed here with two other people to visit NOLA. Perfect location to everything. Able to walking bourbon street, Frenchmen street and had a lot of great restaurants near the hotel. The lounge in the lobby was great also. Will definitely come back and stay here.

DO NOT USE VALET SERVICE, they will take valuables from your car. I didn’t realize my wireless headphones were missing until I got home in Tennessee. My valet driver was a young thin guy with shaggy dreads that goes to his cheeks and or chin. Trip was great but being taken advantage of like that kind of ruined it for me.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Vacation hotel next door. You couldn't even park and wait inside your car for even a minute outside their hotel. Even if they don't have customers.

The staff at this hotel is completely rude and unhelpful. My sister and I brought our service dogs for what was supposed to be a 3-night, 3-day stay. We told them when we booked that we were bringing our service dogs which are still in training.
After a 6.5 hour drive, we arrived at the hotel to discover they did not have any luggage carts and when we asked if a staff member could help us, they just stared at us.
Then a family came in and one of our dogs woofed. It was NOT a full bark, it was NOT an aggressive bark, and he did not even try to leave my side where I was sitting while my sister took all of our things up to the room.
The lobby woman told me she doubts we have service dogs because of that one woof. I told her the dogs are still in training and that they are still service dogs, she gave me an ugly look and went back to the desk.
When my sister came back down, the same woman called her over and repeated that she doesn't believe we have service dogs and that if our dogs get aggressive toward guests, we would all be kicked out.
We finally all made it up to our room, feeling completely unwelcome.
My sister took a shower and the hot water went out in less than 3 minutes. The bathroom door, a sliding glass thing, would not stay closed.
Exhausted, we all went to bed early.
By morning, my sister and I were both in pain because the bed was hard as a rock.
Around 10:30 a.m., we received a call from family members back home that there'd been an emergency and we needed to come back.
We checked out of the hotel before noon on our first day and when my sister told them we were leaving due to a family emergency, they did not even offer to refund part of the stay.
If you value hotels that have friendly staff, comfortable beds and available parking, DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was small but nice and tidy. The location was very convenient. My biggest issue is that we flew down and didn’t rent a car. But I was charged for 4 days of valet parking. So make sure you check your credit card statements and receipts.

The ac was messed up and it was very uncomfortable to sleep in the rooms. Bring your own sheets, blankets, and pillows or else you'll burn up in the night and your neck will be hurting when you wake up. The staff were great though!

Insufficient lighting in my room.
Only one chair in the room, two guests.
Receptionist in a personal conversation ignoring me at check-in.
Heard TV in nearby room.
No guest info packet in room, wasn't able to get room service.
Great location for fun in New Orleans.

Paid 50$ a day for valet parking, thought everything went smoothly. When I received my car back my glove box had been rifled through, registration and multiple items were sitting out on the passenger seat. All of the change in my car had been stolen, as well as my phone charger. Valet people were snickering at us as we drove away. Thank god there was nothing super valuable in the car, but it’s ridiculous that we paid so much money for someone to go through every compartment in my car looking to steal. Our room was pretty nice, but the door handle of the bathroom broke immediately the first time we tried to use it. We requested towels on the second day, and it took over an hour for them to be delivered to my room. Front desk was very respectful and nice, but the experience was overall mid. Don’t leave anything in your car at all, and I would say don’t request room service - if they’re willing to steal every quarter in my car the valuables in your hotel room probably aren’t safe with the staff.

It was kind of inconsistent with the front desk. The women were great, the gentleman was not having a great day. The two men bartenders were super and the drinks were good. The room was small but clean. Shower was amazing but bathroom needs more vanity space. It had hair dryer, shower cap and plenty of towels. No pretty view, just a car garage but not a big deal. The hotel itself needs upgrading. Not very inviting in the halls. The halls have brown walls with brown carpet. Doors need painting. The location is great. Just a couple of blocks from Canal. Overall it was a decent stay.

This hotels valet is TERRIBLE. When we received the car back from valet. They treated my car terribly, everything was thrown around in the car, the TV in my trunk got cracked and broken. It was just a nightmare. To top it all off one of them stole my wife credit cards out of the glove box, we shouldn’t have let it in there but it was forgetten about and regardless they should just do their job and not steal and trash the cars. $46 a night…. For this!?!? Waiting on a call back from the GM. I will add the desk reception people were extremely nice and helpful with everything from checking in to checking out and the hotel overall is pretty nice, but we had a bad experience and for that I have to give one star. Just have to weed out a few bad apples.

Shower didn't work properly. Floors were so uneven that I stubbed my toe on the corner of a piece of cheap room flooring that was lifting/coming apart and the head of our bed was noticeably downhill from the foot. Walls were paper-thin with no acoustic insulation. You could hear everything in the hallway and every door slam shut. No complimentary coffee in the lobby in the mornings (had to buy it). No Keurig in the rooms. No way I'd stay here again.

This Marriot did not live up to the Marriot name. I would not recommend it, not even for a free night's stay. The upkeep of this particular Marriot was terrible—stained sheets, cracks and holes in the walls, and a broken, molded shower knob that fell off. The maintenance supervisor was quick to replace it, so I appreciated that. Otherwise, it's not the Marriot I'm used to staying in. The only two good things about my stay were the front desk employees (friendly) and the excellent location within walking distance of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. I recommend booking another hotel even if you must pay a little more.

I want to let everyone know that I booked this hotel. I made a mistake on the date by one day. Because I prepaid for the rooms, they would not revise or refund my money for this hotel. This is not the place to stay. All I wanted was to revised the date and they refused AND THEY KEPT MY MONEY. I LITERALLY THROWED AWAY MY MONEY. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU BOOK THAT YOU HAVE THE DATES IN CORRECTLY. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I REALIZED THE MISTAKE IMMEDIATELY AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT CHANGE THE DATE. I AM TALKING ABOUT WITHIN SECONDS. I TALKED TO THE NIGHTSHIFT SUPERVISOR STACY SHE WAS NOT ACCOMODATING AT ALL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

Or room was not available until 4:30 after driving 9 hours. 18 people in the lobby waiting on rooms. Boards on lobby floor and bedroom lifted causing a trip hazard. The so called restaurant only serves a cold breakfast buffet for$20 per person, not worth it. Go across the street to breads on oak, great food and coffee. Employees not too friendly and acted like we were bothering them. Toilet in bedroom didn't flush properly. Best thing about the hotel was the location. Close enough to walk to Bourbon St and French Quarters but far enough from the noise

Upon checking into my hotel room, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the space. I found hair on the bed, crumbs, and sticky residue on the floor, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly and the floors were unleveled and missing pieces in certain areas. The following day, I returned to my room to find that the door had been left open by the housekeeper's negligence. Due to this second incident, I asked for a refund, but all I received was an apology. I will not be returning to this property because the staff did not take accountability for their actions and disregarded my complaints. Considering the amount of money I paid for my stay, I expect my room to be cleaned thoroughly upon arrival, and my belongings and I should be kept safe with the proper ability to ensure the door is completely closed. Despite the staff's promise to recode the door, no one came to fix the issue.

Great location with wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. The room wasn't impressive, floors were kinda sticky and one of the towels in the bathroom had been used (someone left a huge stain on it... ????)

Nicely renovated hotel 2 blocks from Canal Street and was a nice spot for Mardi Gras. The room was very clean and staff were good considering the amount of ppl flooding in and pressure to make everyone happy. Stepping out, as in any city, smoke and weed is an issue if you don't like it, but it is what it is ... a hotel in the city. Enjoy.
Huge SHOUT OUT to ????Alison???? our Bartender, she was welcoming and shared GREAT SPOTS for us to TRY!! Also good look out by Silky (I cannot recall his real name, SORRY), he shared spots to ENJOY on Frenchmen St. The Engineer young man was VERY HELPFUL and their Security!! It was clean, well staffed, very helpful, and an easy spot to maneuver wherever we went to in New Orleans... I don't think I recall ppl from the hotels I've stayed in this is truly a first and it was because they were COOL!! AND WELCOMING!!
