Completely quiet rooms, walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, welcoming and friendly staff, very reasonably priced for our long weekend, quite good coffee from the cafe downstairs as well.

I really enjoyed my stay in the French Quarter, with a very nice room, just far enough from Bourbon Street to sleep in peace, but close enough to walk.
The building is historic so don't expect a ton of modernity, but it's certainly not lacking in convenience or comfort.

Tiffany at the front desk is honestly the nastiest people I’ve ever come across in the service industry. I was referred to her from Hotel St Marie, their sister property (fabulous hotel and service btw), and was appalled with her lack of professionalism and attitude. I had asked her to help me look at rooms and she yelled at me that’s it all online. I asked again if she would mind sharing which rooms had balcony and she raised her voice about the website and hung up on me. I called back to ask for the manager and she gave me a fake number. So glad I stayed at Hotel St Marie. They were patient, kind and and incredibly helpful… and the hotel is beautiful!

A great location and all the staff were helpful, I highly recommend this hotel!

Their Bombay Bar was great too for live music and an evening drink.

Location is amazing. Just far enough from the action that we didn’t have any issues sleeping, but close enough that we mostly walked everywhere. Everyone from valet to front desk had amazing customer service. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a couple issues the first day; the safe had a low battery warning and our TV wasn’t working. Both issues were addressed and fixed before the end of that same day.

The room itself was a deluxe king, which on the website states has “views of the French quarter.” Ours had a view of part of the roof and the rooms on the other side of the hotel. Not the view I was hoping for. But the room was clean and the shower was hot and had amazing water pressure, which honestly made up for the view.

Overall a wonderful stay. We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Orleans.

Update: The general manager contacted me with every intention of resolving the issues I experienced. He stated that the room I was in was pulled for further inspection to address the issues. We came to an agreement to remedy the situation. I plan to check out their other locations that have been recently renovated. It is rare to find a company that stands behind their claim of quality being important. I really appreciate the communication and effort that was put forth.

Original post:
This place is run-down. The hallways smell like urine. The rooms smell musty, so you have to keep the air on to minimize the odor. The lady we checked in with was pleasant. Everyone after her made us feel like an inconvenience. I usually stay at the Four Points Sheraton but wanted to be down the road where there was more action. I will stay at the Sonesta next time. This place is a true example of -you get what you pay for.

This hotel is a gem. Located on the corner of bourbon you would think the noise levels would be unbearable but I'm here to tell u. That is the furthest from the truth. Quiet and tranquil on the inside with a fabulous restaurant attached. Rooms are always clean and fully stocked. Walking distance to great places to eat and have a few cocktails. Def my go to everytime I'm in the city!

We always enjoy our trips to NOLA, and the Prince Conti has now become part of our experience. The staff is very friendly and always accommodates our requests in a courteous manner. This is an old, charming hotel that blends right in to the culture of the city. It is in the Quarter, so many wonderful dining experiences are merely steps away.

This was such a great little hotel right in the French quarter. If you want to fully embrace the feeling of the French quarter, stay at this hotel. Valet service parks your car, you are greeted daily, and you have great little food joints right in the hotel.

We stayed here for an extended weekend and loved it! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious (1 bed king), clean, and comfortable.
You can't beat the location! So many great food options and stuff to do within walking distance. We did not have a car for this trip.

My husband and I went for Mardi Gras 24. Checking in to our room and valeting our car was a breeze. Everyone was so nice and the rooms were very spacious! We felt safe the entire time. There is a cafe attached to the hotel where we brought breakfast togo each day and it was great! The location is right off of bourbon street and about a 10-15 min walk from the parade routes. I gave the room a 4star because the shower head sprayed so hard it hurt and the shower door didn't latch properly so water leaked in the bathroom every time we showered. I gave the location 4stars because a bar called "The Garage" was right on the other side of our rooms wall so we heard awful karaoke all night. With it being Mardi Gras we didn't mind but something to be aware of!

Hotel itself is a little tired and in need of some TLC.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Located on Conti St just yards from Bourbon Street the hotel is in a perfect location to get the best fron the French Quarter.

This hotel is a nice little gem right on the edge of the French quarter. It is within walking distance of everything and has a terrific little cafe. When we first got there it was hard to see and appreciate but once we got inside it was terrific. They also have a nightclub bar that's open Wednesday to Saturday. It would not surprise me if it was open more once Mardi gras starts
