What a lovely place! We stayed in the hotel and I was there morning and evenings. The wait staff is so sweet!! Warm and kind and I would go just for coffee in the morning and at one point, Martin offered to pour out the old coffee and refill it without me asking. Just kind, attentive and nice people! Good was great and comforting. Felt like a home away from home. And for a NYer that’s a high compliment ????????????

This was one of the most unique meals I’ve had in a long time. The flavor combinations were artistry. It definitely punched above the 4 stars on Google reviews and it’s worthy of your consideration for fine dining.

We had the pleasure of having breakfast at the on-site Blue Mermaid. The staff member serving us (I would not even call him a gentleman) skipped the lady at the table for the entire meal experience - menu was given to all the men, coffee was served to the men as well. Yeah, it beats me that in 21st century, there's such under-educated service staff. Guess where my breakfast is? Look at the picture and see if you can find Waldo... To make matters worse, I asked for a cup of coffee and he managed to splash it on my blouse. I paid for the meal but I would not recommend this restaurant, especially in such a vibrant neighborhood with abundant alternate choices around.

Loved the Blue Mermaid! We stayed at the Argonaut and the Blue Mermaid Restaurant was very delightful! Food was delish and service was A*! Very welcoming!

Very cute restaurant, yummy chowders and drinks. Lots of different dishes to choose from. I would recommend the coconut shrimp curry.

We had the most incredible dinner here while on holiday and staying in Fisherman's Wharf. The decor was lovely and really unusual and all the staff were so welcoming and clearly passionate about where they work.

The unique menu fusing fish with Indian influences was exquisite. Thank you so much Brian for your brilliant service and excellent food recommendations - we had the tuna and peppers to start, followed by the fish of the day (delicious salmon) and the shrimp curry (which was something else!). Can't recommend this place enough!

Let me start by saying, our server was phenomenal, great service. Me and my partner were visiting and our server even gave us recommendations.
Food was great aswell!

On the other hand, the Manager wasn’t very nice. For some reason he claimed that my card didn’t go through, although I was given a receipt and I showed our lovely server the charge had shown on my bank mobile app.
The manager had the audacity to come to our table with an attitude almost demanding they ran my card again. To which I said no way, but I left my phone number in case they had an issue once the transaction processed.

And guess what dear manager the transaction went through, so take this as a learning experience and talk to your clients like human beings. Because you and your attitude are diminishing the customer experience at Blue Mermaid!

Nice place. The food was great, the staff was fantastic. Well worth the price. The only negative is they switched to a hybrid menu, so there is no difference between lunch and dinner menus. They need to update the website as we would have gone earlier in the day to avoid traffic had we known that.

We went for cocktails has a cool vibe to the hotel it is in . Service was not so good it was busy and short staffed. Got better when the manager came and took care of us. We appreciated that.

Not a very good place. My fish was bad and waiter never replaced the fish. Called manager and they say could not find my order when I ate. Skip this place

I recently dined at Blue Mermaid and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the ambience was just perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Beware: this business hides a 7% purchase in fine print at the bottom of the menu, which is applied to all items. I hate that businesses are doing this, as it feels exploitative. Just raise your prices!!

edit: How can you claim that it's "clearly stated" on the menu when it's in fine print at the bottom that many people can't even read. If it's so clear then why don't you just put it in the prices instead of tacking it on as fine print? What's even the point of having prices if you just tack on fees whenever business expenses go up!

As a plant forward person, get the calamari! I also thoroughly enjoyed the salad and the oysters were sweet and delicious.

Located adjacent to the Argonaut hotel. If you're a guest there, it connects to the hotel. Try the clam chowder.

Bad oysters, ineffective service, and slow. Don't waste your time. All oysters had a foul smell and were old. I eat oysters all the time and the kitchen doesn't have a clue. Take them off the menu before you make someone really sick

Super spot chic et abordable, magnifique déco et bâtisse. Vin au verre, grignote et plats, tout est maitrisé, sans chichi.
Service top. Toilettes de l hôtel ???? nickel.

Et le coin pour se promener est un incontournable !!!????????????
