Ce restaurant situé sur la vivante Polk Street est une bonne adresse fusion mexicaine californienne. On aime le cadre stylé et coloré, ses cocktails créatifs. Sa carte abordable propose tacos, antojitos de la maison (friture de tortilla de maïs mexicaine avec une sauce piment), soupes, salades, burritos et plats de cuisine fusion. Très appétissant ! Vous pouvez opter pour un assortiment de tacos (formule de 2 ou 3 tacos) pour goûter à tout. Mention spéciale pour le porc braisé dans des feuilles de banane avec oignon rouge, coriandre, citron vert et habanero.

The vegetarian enchiladas were tasty. Right ratio of veggies and cheese for me, I don’t mind more cheese but liked that this didn’t taste too rich. There are 2 sauce options red or green and I chose green. I think the tangy tomatillo is good match. The entree is accompanied by rice and beans and again there is choice of Mexican vs cilantro rice I choose former. And wHole vs refried beans , I opted for latter. Both were tasty however I felt the temperature could have been better, felt lukewarm to me. While the portion was sufficient for me at $22 I felt the quantity of rice and beans could have been more generous. I could see someone with a more hefty appetite not being satiated. Thus removed a star.
The ambiance was very nice and I look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.
Oh, and to top it off my friend that was dining with me had to ask for the quesadilla to be taken off the bill. Apparently that’s not something that automatically comes with a severe allergic reaction.
