Mathilde est un restaurant français situé dans le quartier de SoMa, au sud de Market Street, juste à côté du Yerba Buena Center. En poussant la porte du restaurant, une histoire commence : ambiance cosy, moderne, patio extérieur : idéal pour un dîner à deux. La carte reprend les classiques de la cuisine française. Comme les locaux, vous vous régalerez sûrement avec le cassoulet ou l'osso bucco, mais une chose est sûre : gardez de la place pour les desserts, ils sont excellents.

I don't even understand the poor reviews, this is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Absolutely the best French onion soup and filet mignon I've ever had. Don't miss out on the potato puffs either, they're filled with by bechamel. Yummmm.

Outstanding! Phenomenal! Incredible! Exquisite! How many superlative adjectives can one find to describe a restaurant like this? Food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, competent, and very attentive even to the small details. I and my family cannot recommend it highly enough. We plan on coming back, even if we have to swim across the bay to get here. It is wonderful to find a restaurant like this to cap off a wonderful day in San Francisco. Miss coming here at your own peril!

This French restaurant reminds me of home. In this huge city I could not image such a sophisticated French restaurant. This chef was spot on. My night was magical. If you dine at night, it is so romantic. So, make sure to dress up! I can not wait to return to the city but this time I hope to meet the chef.
