Avis MUSIC CITY HOTEL San Francisco

Très propre, le personnel était formidable, et le fait que le shampoing, l'après-shampoing et la serviette soient inclus dans le prix est un plus.

Un choix d'hôtel à bas prix pour SF, très solide et amusant. C'était mon troisième séjour et je n'ai pas à me plaindre. Bien sûr, il pourrait être plus fantaisiste, mais vous ne payez pas pour la fantaisie. Je séjourne ici avec mon enfant dans l'une de leurs chambres privées et je n'ai aucun problème de sécurité. Le stationnement est facile sur le terrain de la ville au coin de la rue. Tout à fait recommandable.

La déco est sympa ainsi que la cabine avec les rideaux qui offrent un peu d’intimité, en revanche ce n’est pas vraiment une auberge de jeunesse il n’y a pas de cuisine on est obligé de sortir mangé dehors, il n’y a pas non plus de salle commune.

Super sympa, super propre - au-delà des attentes. Il s'agit manifestement d'un studio en activité, avec plusieurs salles de spectacle. Les chambres étaient propres et calmes. L'exposition de photos de musiciens originaires de la Bay Area ou liés à cette région est vraiment intéressante et bien faite.

Grand concept de salle de concert et de studio avec auberge de jeunesse. Excellent personnel. Cool !

Plus important encore, il n'y a pas de cuisine et seulement un petit espace social exigu avec un micro-ondes qui peut accueillir confortablement environ 5 personnes. Les chambres étaient décentes et les pods étaient confortables, à l'exception des minces matelas qui rendaient le sommeil un peu moins confortable. Le pass VIP ou autre ne m'a jamais été expliqué. L'organisation semblait confuse mais je suis sûr que cela aurait été plus amusant s'il avait été plus facile de rencontrer des gens.

Un emplacement idéal, des gens formidables, beaucoup de choses à faire, même à l'intérieur, pour une nuit sûre, avec du plaisir et de la joie en écoutant de la musique, y compris des groupes de musique en direct. Je choisis toujours le Music City Hotel quand je visite San Francisco parce que je sais que j'en ai pour mon argent. Je reviendrai.

J'annulerai mon voyage à San Francisco si je ne peux pas séjourner au Music City Hotel ! Le personnel : adorable. Les chambres : propres, efficaces, confortables. L'emplacement : J'adore le bus 19 !

La meilleure expérience d'auberge que j'ai eue depuis un moment. Ce n'est pas forcément l'environnement le plus social, mais c'est suffisamment propre et calme et on a l'impression d'être dans un endroit agréable et confortable.

Ne restez pas. Ils agissent tous comme des robots

La chambre que j'ai occupée n'avait pas de crochets pour accrocher votre serviette ou d'espace pour ranger vos affaires... et le matelas était assez inconfortable.

J'ai choisi cet hôtel en sachant qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un séjour de luxe, mais le coût était inférieur de moitié à celui de la plupart des grands hôtels, et d'autres commentaires disaient qu'il était propre et situé dans un quartier correct de la ville. Etant un peu du coin (Northbay), je connaissais en quelque sorte le quartier de toute façon. La chambre n'avait rien de spécial par rapport aux hôtels (chambre Janis Joplin) et n'était pas grande non plus, mais elle était amusante (les souvenirs musicaux et le thème) et surtout, et je peux le confirmer, elle était très propre ! (même sous le lit). La chambre que nous avons occupée avait sa propre salle de bain qui était agréable, petite, mais qui fonctionnait très bien. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est assez central pour tout (en voiture), et assez loin des parties moins agréables de SF. Il y a des bars et un magasin de pizzas tard le soir juste au coin de la rue Polk, le parking est une porte plus bas au coin de Polk et Bush, l'accès pour Uber ou les taxis est très bien à la porte d'entrée, le service était amical et serviable (nous avons pris un verre avant de sortir en ville et Daniel le barman a rouvert le bar qu'il venait de fermer pour la nuit afin de nous donner quelques boissons, merci Daniel). Le seul inconvénient de la chambre est qu'elle se trouve au 3ème étage et que le seul accès (à notre connaissance) est l'escalier en colimaçon, donc si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité ou beaucoup de bagages, cela peut être un problème. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé, nous avons fait nos pas pour la journée (littéralement). Le bruit, si vous avez besoin de calme, ce n'est pas l'endroit pour vous, mais je ne pense pas que vous l'obtiendrez dans n'importe quel hôtel de la ville (à moins que vous ne soyez dans une suite au dernier étage). Pour le prix, l'emplacement et la propreté, j'y séjournerais à nouveau. Merci de votre compréhension

BON EMPLACEMENT, CENTRAL EN QUELQUE SORTE JE DIRAIS. PERSONNEL AGRÉABLE. LITS CAPSULE DE BONNE TAILLE, NETTOYAGE QUOTIDIEN. JE RÉSERVERAIS CERTAINEMENT À NOUVEAU.

LE SEUL POINT NÉGATIF EST QUE JE N'AI PAS EU MON PETIT DÉJEUNER INCLUS TOUS LES JOURS. :/

Bed similar to a water matress, no options for pillows, wall sockets that don't support appliances and finally a strange smell all over the place....

Uniquely themed with activities and band performances at the lobby. Bryan the receptionist was exceptional as well! ????????

In general hostel is nice. No elevator to 2nd floor, but there is a handy room with microwave, hot water and coffee. I can compare a 4-beds room and 2-beds room, so 2-beds is the best as it offers you more space and private desk. 4-beds room is tiny, no space for your luggage. No elevator to 2nd floor. Restrooms are outside the rooms, but I was lucky always find a free one.

Increíble. El hotel tiene un estilo único y especial para los amantes de la música. En la recepción también cuenta con un bar y un escenario donde dan shows y ensayos, todo ambientado con temática estudio de rock. El sector de las habitaciones es muy tranquilo y limpio. Ideal para viajar con amigos o solo. Además tiene una sala donde se puede servir café en cualquier momento del día y es ideal para desayunar o trabajar de forma remota. Excelente precio y calidad

I booked this on a lark when I took advantage of a last minute chance to attend a conference in SF. The capsule experience was easy for me because I am small and relatively flexible. The upper capsule would have been a challenge otherwise. The room was showing a fair amount of wear and tear and hopefully there is a proactive schedule for changing out the mattresses. I recommend bringing a sleep sack, the provided linens/bedding were much too warm for me.

Worst customer service ever. Hostile and rude!

This place is a gem. I've stayed about a week at the hostel and used the rehearsal space a few times. Absolutely awesome. The practice spaces are comfortable and very well equipped with backline gear, well planned, thoughtfully staged for quick setup/breakdown, and priced generously, too. The hostel rooms have Japanese style pods with blackout shades for privacy which is great in dorm situations. They provide more than enough comfortable bedding, towels and bath amenities and the showers are hot with excellent water pressure. Noticeably, everywhere you go is CLEAN and modernized, the bathrooms always stocked with paper towels and tp. The walls are decorated with SF music memorabilia just about everywhere, so it never feels like you're in a space that wasn't carefully designed to cater to your appreciation of MUSIC????????. They have a cocktail bar and kitchen, with awesome staff. Front desk is friendly and helpful on all accounts. Oh, and the entire hotel is also a museum which you can walk while listening to an audio guided tour (qr code) through the storied history of SF pop musical history, which hipped me to grip of recording artists I hadn't heard before and enlightened me to SF connection to artists I never knew had ties to the bay area. Maybe I missed some though, where were the Pretty Things and Modern Lovers? Surely somewhere I didn't have my eyes open. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this place, and I'm grateful to them for keeping a light on for musicians like me and for carrying a torch for the appreciation of music past and present,

Such a cool hotel! Would definitely recommend this to others.

Some might argue with location stars but it's really about what you're after in a travel experience. This is classic SF quirkyness with a musician owner blended with stages, recording studios for music and podcasts, an old bones building with a newly remodeled interior that reminds me of the 90s blended with most of the tech focused then and available now. In that view the location has some grung in 90s sense... Not bad where it's at but the heart of the tenderloin is nearby and not a sight for everyone... If it's not for you don't go there and just enjoy the unique ambiance reminiscent of a millennial past.

While looking for a place to live, I'd stayed at a few hostels in the city. Not all of them are as clean, attentive, friendly and most of all respectful as MCHSF. I feel welcomed here. the capsules are really nice. Enough space, and semi-private. I really like them. I'd totally tell my friends who travel to SF to consider staying here. Thank you MCSF for making my stay here a memorable one.

Really wanted to like it but can't get over the fact that my bedding was super unclean (white marks on sheets and white crumbs). I can't imagine that they were freshly changed sheets.

It was under renovations when I was there so it was hard to sus out the vibe and meet people, though I’m sure it’s much better when it’s up and running and there’s live music! It was very clean and the staff was great. The main reason my rating isnt higher is because it was insanely expensive for what you get…especially considering the building is very old and there’s no elevator. Rooms definitely look better in the pictures (but that’s often the case). There was also a hefty property tax ($110 CAD) that I was not made aware of before I booked. Big ouch on top of an already overpriced room.

Do not book here as an artist. They act like they care about artist but they truly don’t not the place for artist all.
