Thank you for such a delightful stay for a business trip! It is a rare event to feel restored, rather than burned out, after a typical business trip and the Parker Guest House was the key difference. I loved sitting by the fireplace to catch up on emails and walk into the kitchen to get a cup of tea. It was a little cool to enjoy the courtyard area, but the space is lovely. The breakfasts and the wine and cheese were just the perfect touch. And the bed was comfortable with a nice fluffy comforter. The neighborhood was also wonderful - really enjoyed walking to so many wonderful restaurants and the end of the day. I hope to be back soon, and will definitely make it a point to stay here!

Parker Guest House was the perfect stay for my son and me. Fantastic location literally steps away from Dolores Park. The staff were incredibly welcoming and responsive. The breakfast was delightful. The house is beautiful and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Just a heads up for anyone who is mobility impaired. Though everything is as lovely and charming as can be, there are stairs. Stairs for miles. To get in, to get around, to get out. Parker doesn’t claim to be accessible, but I don’t need a chair and none of the photos show the extent of the climb you might need to do anything. IYKYK

Just the most charming and lovely B&B I've stayed at in a very long time. Location in SF (and not ONLY, but certainly IF you're GLBTQ!) is fabulous. Easy transportation right across the street, and another a couple blocks down. Rooms decorated in a delightful, very "old SF" way. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting San Francisco. Feels like you're at home! They have thought of everything from the wonderful breakfasts and wine happy hour! The patio areas are gorgeous. The staff is very helpful and friendly, too. Highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again.

I first stayed at this property in 2007 and enjoyed it immensely. That is why I chose to stay there again when returning to San Francisco in 2023 with my partner. I was not disappointed.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to accommodate any requests or queries you may have. The rooms are well appointed and very reasonably priced. The inclusion of a very well catered breakfast is fantastic, especially given how locating and paying for an extra meal every day can add up (especially the case given the Australian dollar exchange rate). Plus the afternoon social drinks give you an opportunity to meet fellow travellers from all around the world. It gives the property the feeling of a home rather than just another hotel room.

Finally the location is perfect. Located between the Castro and Mission districts with Mission Delores park a stone throw away, you get a real vibe of the neighbourhoods. City bound light rail is just outside the front door as are busses and trams bound for all the major sights of this great city.

I would definitely recommend the Parker Guesthouse to any visitor to SF.

We felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. After a long flight we had a nice hot shower, robes, and brandy by the fire. Breakfast was really nice with fresh coffee. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

Delightful small hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood with coffee shops, great restaurants and a lovely park nearby. Beautifully curated rooms with breakfast included. Lots of common space in the gardens and cosy sitting rooms by a roaring fire. Perfect spot to stay a few days while you explore San Francisco. Plus the innkeepers are warm & welcoming. Five stars!

Op loopafstand van Dolores Park, het Castro District en zelfs Alamo Square (als je van wandelen houdt), is deze plek een juweeltje. De kamer was vrij klein en de prijs vrij hoog (in Europa zou je voor iets dergelijks op de helft van de prijs uitkomen), maar goed, je bent in San Francisco, je hebt je eigen badkamer, je verblijft op een comfortabele plek met veel charme en je begint de dag met een heerlijk ontbijt! ! We genoten van de wijn social om 17:30 uur, buiten genietend van de laatste zonnestralen in de tuin. Onze gastheer deed zijn uiterste best om onze prepaid taxi na het uitchecken te regelen (de chauffeur kwam niet opdagen), dankzij hem kwamen we op tijd op de luchthaven aan.
Klein detail: toen we vroegen hoe het openbaar vervoer werkt, en of je een kaartje kunt kopen in de tram, wist de gastvrouw hier niets van, zij reist blijkbaar niet veel met het openbaar vervoer. . .
Al met al was ons verblijf aangenaam en we zouden Parker Guest House aanbevelen aan onze vrienden.
