HOTEL ZEPPELIN * * * *

We booked via agoda and the bookings text explained all the amenities (which you pay extra for) but they are practically non existent.
We needed to use a computer for a rebooking of a plane ticket but that was not allowed.
All in all a basic, 3 star hotel in a convenient location.
The rooms are very noisy and I was "upgraded" to a room next to the elevator that was even noisier.
"Found" by Sonder is just a few blocks away and literally has better amenities, cheaper prices and better service despite being rated 2.5 stars. The only positive is that Hotel Adagio, which is a few blocks away is arguably just as bad in in a worse area closer to the tenderloin.
The one positive is it is close to Lost Cat which is a cool bar but you could have that if you stayed at the Marriot across the street. Do that instead.
It is also walkable to 2 BART stations and Union Square as well as a Walgreens and CVS.
Major annoyance is the "amenities fee" . $35 per night is collected and not returned. Don't know what I got for that money. Front desk didn't know either. Would stay again if total cost was upfront. It's scammy.
