This is one of the great places to stay in San Francisco. I have stayed here quite a few times and it's a very cozy little hotel. The rooms are very clean and they have fireplaces and if you go in the summertime they have a swimming pool plus the beach is right across the street. If you don't want to drive your car you can easily take an Uber or a Lyft downtown or if you're adventurous you can take a bus, San Francisco has a fantastic transportation system.

I feel so lucky we booked here! We can take a beautiful walk through a park straight to the beach with so many places to explore. I was not expecting our room to be this big and cozy. Perfect for our family. We got a fireplace room. After going to the ocean it was so nice to come to this room take a nice hot shower and relax in front of the fireplace. The service is amazing. A very kind man Heeman checked us in and brought us extra blankets and pillows. I hope to stay here every time we visit San Francisco.

I want to thank the front-desk man of this place. Last Friday, I stopped in the opposite corner because my pressure was low and I was almost passed out and this guy saw the situation, came out and offered me some sweets and a coke. I didn't spend any days in the hotel but this attitude definitely tells that this place is run by good people. Thanks again!

Das Motel ist in die Jahre gekommen, ees gibt weder Frühstück noch Pool, die Zimmer waren aber groß und sauber. Der Standort ist super, direkt vor dem Haus fährt der Expressbus in ca 25 Minuten bis downtown und bis zum ersten Aussichtspunkt auf die Golden Gate Bridge sind es durch einen Park 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Nach unserem Eindruck wäre es sehr schade, wenn sich das Saal Rock Inn nicht halten könnte.

다운타운이 차량털이가 많고 위험해보여서 샌프란의 서쪽으로 공원을 누리고 싶었고 리뷰가 좋았던 점, 예약도 홈페이지를 통해서 1곳으로만 받아서 관리가 잘 된 호텔이라 생각이 들었습니다. 그리고 주차가 무료여서 선택하기도 했습니다.

하지만 완전 오산이었습니다. 방에 들어오자마자 꿉꿉한 냄새가 났는데 곰팡이 냄새였습니다.
다른 리뷰를 꼼꼼히 읽어보면 냄새에 대해 언급되어있었으나 눈치채지 못했습니다.
괜찮겠지? 적응되겠지? 했지만 전혀 그렇지 않았습니다. 밤새 냄새때문에 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다. 침대아래는 매우 더러웠고, 창틀은 곰팡이 자국이 가득했고 커튼은 곰팡이로 가득했습니다. 화장실 세면대에서도 역시 곰팡이냄새가 났습니다.

그런데 문제는 이 냄새가 잠잘때 입었던 옷과 옷걸이에 걸어놨던 옷, 심지어 가방까지 모두 베였다는 사실입니다. 머리카락까지 냄새가 베여 정말 참을 수 없었습니다.

리뷰를 적을 때는 사실에 근거해서 적어야합니다. 2달전 리뷰가 너무 좋았고 평점이 4점이 넘어서 고른 숙소였는데 정말 최악이었습니다.

바다가 보이는 사진에 속아서 이 숙소를 선택하지 마세요.

It's been years since I visited this area of San Francisco and I'm so fortunate that my son purchased a night for us at the Seal Rock Inn. What a fabulous place! It's spacious, clean, & has all the amenities, including a full coffee bar, microwave, fridge and an absolutely beautifully renovated bathroom/shower. It's very close to the hiking trail that goes to the Sutro Baths...a long and highly recommended part of San Francisco history, which includes the Cliff House, sadly no longer there, and the Great Highway with a stretch of beach, beautiful for strolling. The succulent flowers and cypress trees all covered in a fine mist which is the fog floating over from the ocean touches my heart ❤️.

The seal rock inn was peaceful, clean, welcoming, with excellent service and wonderful location. It was a most amazingly unexpected place- for a clean, relaxing and peaceful stay I highly recommend it.
And I highly recommend visiting the ocean/ seal rock down the street!!
