Had an excellent tour with Brian through Chinatown and little Italy. His knowledge, sense of humour, and love of the area created a unique and throughly enjoyable experience. Though the tour was only supposed to be 4hrs, we were touring for over 5 due to some bonus food "side quests". Worth every penny!

This food tour was the best! I’ve been on several food tours throughout the world, and this was excellent. Our tour guide Brian was knowledgeable and humorous. We experienced many different tastes of the area and got a nice history too. Highly recommend this tour and looking forward to doing another with this company soon.

We could not have asked for a better tour and tour guide than Andre! I happened to be celebrating my birthday that day and was with my 2 best friends on a girls trip to SF and Napa. This by far was the highlight. Andre was so personable and informative. We learned so much, enjoyed so many delicious treats and meals (that moon cake, omg!!), and visited so many interesting places. The group was just big enough and sitting down together a few times for tea and 2 meals was a nice break for a chance to get to know fellow travelers. There happened to be a gentleman playing the Erhu on the street, and Andre ran over and asked him to play Happy Birthday which was such a treat! So glad of all the tours available we chose this one! We loved our time in SF and can't wait to come back. I HIGHLY recommend anyone traveling here to make this part of their trip!

Our walking tour of Chinatown & North Beach\Little Italy was awesome! We had such a great time. Brian(tour guide) was full of great information and background of the city’s history and culinary delights. Since we were a small group he was able to add a few (2) extra stops. We were all full and really liked all the food we ate. From being greeted with onion rolls and BBq pork buns to chocolates from a couple places, excellent tea tastings, Anthony Bourdain's top 3 best hamburgers, then ending the night with Margarita pizza and cannoli. I can’t leave out the delicious baked potstickers, peking duck, spring rolls and shrimp dimsum, then the fortune cookie company, my students loved it all. To any and all contemplating which company to go with I vote for this company as I have been taking my culinary classes on Toms tours for well over 10 years. He is always changing up the restaurants to give us the taste of the town that is the best ever. Just a few tips – remind your group to bring a jacket, know where you can park especially if you have a tall van that might get stuck in the low garages. Thanks again Tom and Brian.

Andre was an amazing guide. He was able to keep all ages in our group engaged for over 3 hours, part of which was in the pouring rain! Book this tour if you want to experience what Chinatown in San Francisco is all about.

This was beyond an amazing tour. Brian is a great and caring tour guide. His knowledge of San Francisco was a genuine joy to hear and coupled with his jokes and personal experience, made the tour one of the highlights of our trip.
In terms of the food part of the tour, seriously come hungry. Everything was a joy to eat and YOU WILL WANT TO EAT IT ALL!! I personally bookmarked the places we went to on the tour so we could go back again.
This is a must do!!!

Absolutely the best way to spend your first full day in the city! Brian gave our tour 1000%; even my nine-year old remained enthusiastic the whole time! Although we'd lived in SF before, the tour gave us so many ideas for the rest of our trip. The tea tasting and sitting down for Peking Duck were our favorites. We had such a great time and went back and visited many of the places he took us to or mentioned. Price is beyond worth it. Thank you, Brian!

We took an evening tour with Brian and Andre. They were so much fun and super sweet. We ate so much food along the way and learned so much about the history! My husband and I absolutely loved each place we visited and are planning to return to a few. Definitely would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a taste of each part of Chinatown and north beach and get some steps in along the way. It is well worth the price and we had

This was the best food tour I've ever taken! Isabella was such a great host and guide. She is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and obviously is very passionate about her city, the many cultures and her customers. I would highly recommend this tour and guide!

Amazing tour! Brian, our guide, was lots of fun and knowledgeable. We had an unforgettable experience with food, snacks, and opportunities to visit hidden spots in SF which we were unaware of. Highly recommend this company and Brian! Looking forward to trying their other tours someday!

We did a Sunday afternoon tour with Brian, great vibes, great stories and great food! Worth the price as you get so much food and 4 hours of guided tour. Highly recommend even for local people that want to explore this area of the city.

This was my first food tour and it was such a pleasant experience; especially with Brian as our guide to walk through Little Italy enjoying the sights, the humor, and the history from the native San Franciscan ???? I was there for the food ???? but thoroughly enjoyed the perks that were including and the little extras he provided. I highly recommend this wonderful experience!!!

The owner of this business, Tom, absolutely loves his town of San Francisco, and it shows in the quality of the tours!
Our tour guide, Brian, did a fantastic job of giving our group tidbits about local history and taking us to amazing restaurants in the North Beach area that we likely would not have discovered on our own. Brian is a true native San Franciscan who is super proud and passionate about his city. Our three hour walking tour was engaging, delicious, and entertaining. Brian's love of San Francisco shows in the quality of the amazing tour he gave to us.
Will recommend to anybody visiting San Francisco!

Our guide, Scott, was fantastic. He is a journalist and author, and knows an incredible amount of San Francisco history. The food stops were all hits - we especially loved the green beans at Grant Place and the egg tarts to end the tour - and the tea tasting at Vital Tea Leaf was the highlight for our group. Scott was a great guide and we'd take any tour he leads.

We took the Chinatown Food Walking tour and we loved it! It was a great way to experience Chinatown and taste all the yummy food. The dim sum was our favorite. The tea house was entertaining and informative too! I would definitely take other walking tours!

Brian was our guide for the North Beach/Little Italy Food Tour. My husband and I are from Memphis, TN, so we wanted to experience as many local eateries as we could while exploring the area. Brian gave us that and more! Not only did he give us a guided historical tour of the neighborhoods, he threw in little nuggets that we never would have known just walking around by ourselves. The food was divine. The tour's description is not overselling when it says you'll be full by the end of the tour! We took the tour in the rain and Brian didn't rush us along. We still received the full tour, and his sense of humor was the icing on the cake! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We can't wait to take the other walking tour on our next visit to San Francisco! As a "native" who's been to SF Chinatown before and lived in No Beach, Doug's tour was so satisfying for the soul. He's an inciteful storyteller with good perspective. I was starving going into the tour and my foodie soul was quite content with some new places to return to. Doug really maximized great usage of time too. Our group was thrilled. And you can do this solo as well if you wanted. All welcome.
