Spa, restaurant.

Beautiful spot. Car significantly damaged in parking lot. Property is not well secured. Staff unwilling to help troubleshoot damage that occurred to my vehicle. Consider taking Uber / cab if you choose to stay here.

This place is fantastic and very unique. The hotel has repurposed and renovated the historic Fort Baker Army housing and amenities (including officer housing) to create a resort at the northern foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. The rooms are perfect, the restaurants’ food delicious, and the service is impeccable. Located near Sausalito, this is not as remote from downtown San Francisco as one would think - in fact, CPL is a great option if you want to explore both SF and Marin county. We stayed here for a conference in SF and found it to be convenient and a quiet respite from city life. Highly recommend this gem of a property!

Thank you for such a charming stay! Very quiet and quaint get away with lots of privacy. Plenty of bonus amenities (ie morning yoga, coffee and pastry station, electric bikes, shuttle service) much more than I expected.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the heating systems were easy to use on the chilly evenings. Parking was convenient right next to our room.
Plenty of walks, hikes, and sites to see without moving your car.
A feeling of going back in time while still being in the present. Outstanding restoration and chic design.
Staff were always available and friendly, the bellmen were welcoming and attentive.
We hope to make Cavallo Point an annual visit!
Thank you!
PS We heard about Cavallo Point through AMEX and highly recommend the entire experience.

This is not a true luxury hotel though. It only has the bells and whistles to try to be (like extra fancy snacks and dog treats, lots of staff around, e-bike rental service — but did not try it), but does not cover the basics.
Water for shower in the morning was lukewarm and there’s no handheld hose (maybe a US thing).
No indication on how to call the front desk from the room phone, had to call the reservation line from our mobile. Waited long for a shuttle from Farley back to the room and had to ask several times. No more umbrellas to borrow due to the heavy rain. Just poor and frustrating service in general.
