This is my husband’s favoritest breakfast/brunch spot in all of Sac! The food is delish! Service is ok most of the time, there’s always those waiters that are not very attentive, but that’s most places I think. Be prepared to wait in line though unless you arrive super duper early, they’re always packed! Worth the wait though ????

I’ve been here several times over the last few years and Bacon & Butter does not disappoint! I loved the bacon pancakes when they had them, the biscuit sandwich (wet) was my go to for a while, and then I tried the avocado toast recently and fell in love. Sometimes I just order a large side of their bacon gravy so I can have it at home, it’s as delicious as it sounds! I ordered the cinnamon roll on my way out a couple months ago and felt like I robbed myself all these years for not having tried it before! Been feening for another one ever since lol. The cinnamon rolls sell out sometimes so you have to get there or order online before 12pm I’d say.

If you are a foodie you’ll love this place! Great service, unique dining experience, and add it to your favorites cause you’ll be up like me in the morning with a taste for bacon gravy or a cinnamon roll guaranteed!

Great atmosphere. The apple pie french toast was amazing! I also tried the biscuit, but being honest, it wasn’t good for me. But I’m pretty sure other people can love it. A perfect place to start a day on weekend. I followed the advice to arrive early, and I found a seat without issues.

Awesome experience the cinnamon roll was my absolute favorite with the kitchen sink I love how friendly the atmosphere was and how kind of staff was. wheelchair fit perfectly at the table for our clients it’s perfectly ADA compliance restrooms and parking

First time here. After a 45 min wait, we were seated at the bar. Despite how busy it was, staff was quick and worked efficiently. However, the actual food was awful. The Cali burrito and biscuit sandwich were saturated with oil/grease/fat causing them to fall apart. The potato’s were cut so coarsely and not particularly seasoned, if at all. The food was honestly bland and appears to rely heavily on the assumed bacon and butter they cook all their food in. I would not recommend going here. If you want to feel heavy, bloated, and tired the rest of the day, just cook your normal breakfast at home and add three to four times the amount of oil, cheese, and butter required. If I was interested in my body’s physical health, I would not eat here. Also, their house sausage taste like dumpling meat.

Awesome place. The good was amazing, and the portions were too big to finish. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a trendy place to get some great breakfast food. Be prepared to wait in line because it is packed, but worth the wait.

There was a 40 minute wait but more than worth the wait! Have the cinnamon bun for an appetizer! I don’t usually like cinnamon buns because they are too sweet. Theirs was perfect and delicious!

I really wanted to love this place since I had been wanting to try it for a long time. Unfortunately it was just ok. The customer service was great and the place is really clean but the food was just okay. I had the grilled cheese Benedict with potatoes and my husband had the chicken and waffles. The grill cheese was really dry so I asked for more hollandaise sauce which helped. I will say my poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes lacked seasoning. My husband said the chicken and waffles were good but dry. We got a said of the sausage patty but was really disappointed because it was more savory and super garlicky. I would not call this a breakfast sausage. We went on a weekday. I would love to come back and try something different.

Never again, i’m usually not picky but never again those fries where supper unseasoned and the “ground beef” burger tasted straight like sausage no beef it was also not cooked how i asked but the pancakes did look good but still my burger was awful and fries and was also super expensive rather just go down the street to wingstop

Initially I had the biscuit bacon and gravy, it was a soup, kind of! I did not even like its appearance. So I ordered the 4 sides, the poached eggs are too hard, the yolk is hard, not runny at all.
And the waitress had an attitude that I did not understand, also she was so scarce that 2-3 times the other waitresses had to catch her for me

Great food, but it’s so cramped barely any space and if ur a party more than 5 good luck waits are always over an hr. They also have outside seating, but never have ppl outside? Maybe they should invest in better covers for outside so they can always make the most of their space. Very disappointing that they can’t even accommodate the seats outside for ppl.

I ordered peppermint tea and the tea pot was filthy. There was dirt and food in the tea pot. The tea pot had long dark brown cracks with trapped dirt within it. I had already drank some tea when I realized how filthy the tea pot was. We couldn’t enjoy or finish our food after that. It is a health hazard having cracked pottery or whatever as it traps bacteria indefinitely. I fell very ill the next day. I would not recommend as the dishwasher seen the tea pot and our server but somehow it was still served to me. It’s really crazy to think about how sick it made me for the next couple of days. Have to report to the health department!!!!!!

I know we made the mistake of going to a popular brunch place on a Sunday. But when we showed up I asked how long the wait could be, and we were told 1h20m, so we put our name on the list. They told us they would text us when it was our turn.

After waiting for over an hour we started to notice people who showed up after us kept getting seated. So I asked how far down the list we were and they said there were 5 parties ahead of us. After another 30 minutes of waiting (and seeing more people who arrived after us get seated) we asked again, and we were told there were 10 parties ahead of us. So after waiting more than 2 hours, and getting no text updates, we moved on.

I’m sure the food is great here. And I know Sundays are busy, but their seating process is a nightmare.
