The place is overall nice and rooms were clean. The game room is good for the kids, even though there were a number of games out of order.

The restaurant is underwhelming, we were a big group, and there were lots of negative comments about almost every dish (burnt burger, awful tasting philly cheese sandwich, soup tasting like tomato sauce, ..etc). Bring your own food with you.

Room is clean with cozy ambience. We had lunch and dinner here, can put the bill on the room. Food quality is good.

Coffee machine in the room, also provide Twinings(tea bags), love it.

2 mins drive and you can get to the entrance of Yosemite National Park.

Game room has pool ball and many other games. (See my photos, I don’t really know how to call them ????)

Very decent place to stay and enjoy the time here ❤️????

Great place to hang out in the Lobby, drink hot chocolate and get wifi. Very close to Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite National Park. We stopped here a couple times throughout the week to check email, stay connected to family and friends.

We got a spa there and it was very mediocre. My partner and my massage were differently done even though we booked the same rush creek signature spa. I was feeling cold throughout my massage which is the worst feeling. Not worth the money and efforts.

Location is farrrrr from yosemite park, just incase the 120 road closes you are basically stuck and cant reach there by any chance. We had to take a detour that added an extra 1:30mins to reach the park via mariposa. Not

During my recent one-night stay at Rush Creek Lodge, I encountered several aspects of the service that did not meet my expectations. Below, I briefly detail the key points that marked my experience:

Lack of assistance on arrival: No one offered to help unload and carry my luggage from the car to the room.

No Tesla chargers available: There were no charging stations for electric vehicles, which caused me inconvenience.

Issues during check-out: There was an attempt to charge me again for the stay and expenses already paid for, without an apology for the error.

Inattentive staff: Despite the beauty of the surroundings, the quality of service provided by the employees was not up to par.
These points negatively affected my perception of my visit, highlighting the need for improvement in key areas to ensure a satisfactory experience for future guests.

Overall, a lovely and beautiful place. The staff working at the restaurant were so kind and made us feel very welcomed. The property is full of activities that brought our family together. It’s very family-friendly, as kids will have fun with smores, zip lines, slides, and other fun things.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay.
Great location to the entrance of Yosemite. Staff was kind. Dinner food is very good. We did not plan in advance so spa was booked.
We mostly enjoyed the Wonders of Yosemite Full Day Tour with Tyler Anreacchio. He was amazing! The real deal and the whole package. His love for the outdoors, respect for the outdoors and esp. for Yosemite was so apparent, He is so knowledgeable, and was so engaging. We also enjoyed hearing about his passion for climbing and all that it entails.

I really wanted to love Rush Creek Lodge but unfortunately it just didn’t meet expectations. We arrived around 4pm for a 3 night visit and we were promptly checked in to a first floor king room by a very young employee. While the resort and rooms are nicely decorated, it is clear that corners were cut during construction. Music playing in a room upstairs reverberated in our room at all hours. I complained twice - I was given a breakfast voucher after the second complaint which was something I guess but the fact that I wasn’t offered a different room or any other actual solution tells me that noise complaints are a regular occurrence. The AC fan was also extremely loud.
We ate at the restaurant most nights and the food was quite good. The male host we encountered was quite difficult to deal with making a big deal out of “squeezing” us in to a mostly deserted dining hall. The breakfast buffet at $25 per person was borderline inedible.
We spent our last day in the spa which was quite nice. The massage I got was decent. The facilities staff took away from the relaxing atmosphere plodding through the outdoor area slamming gates and not using the hushed tones that multiple signs remind customers to use.
Overall, the proximity to Yosemite is the main draw here. It is very family friendly with lots to do for kids. However, the quality of the accommodation and mediocre hospitality doesn’t justify the price.

We used to celebrate every New Year there. Covid restrictions changed some of our traditions. I can't wait to visit this place again. I keep recommending it to my friends.

The food is AMAZING! I stayed here for a retreat and my colleagues and I had nothing but great things to say about the food and there was about 20 of us. Compliments to the chef. I HIGHLY recommend the crispy fried cauliflower and the crème brûlée cheesecake.

We went there in the winter, and it was snowing on our last day. It was really awesome there. There was a big pool (it was heated) and even in the snow it didn't even freeze over. People swam in it! The service is great and there is a big game room. There is a little playground for little kids but also a small zipline (made for ages 5-12). The food was good, but the kids menu was small and they had chicken nuggets for every meal (there were burgers and other stuff too, but none of the other stuff interested them). The gift shop is large, and the rooms are really nice, although there was no TV but that wasn't much of a problem. There was a gas fireplace too. There was a guest lounge and a game room (mentioned before) with a lot of games such as a pool table and a pinball machine. There were many activities to do there, such as breaking open your own geodes! Overall, very nice area and we had a splendid stay!

Incredible property. My wife and I had a great time. Excellent and attentive staff, especially the bartenders and servers at the restaurant. Highly recommend the general store coffee - it is SO good!! If we come back to Yosemite, we are definitely staying here! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

What a lovely place close to Yosemite National Park. After being upgraded at no extra charge, we stayed in a really nice Hillside Villa.

Our boys loved the place and enjoyed playing on the playground and in the playroom. The pool and family spa were also a huge hit.
We had booked 3 nights but chose to stay an extra night. By the way, the employees were really nice and very helpful.

The food in the restaurant was good, although a little bit expensive. In return, there was s'mores event every evening.

The warmest recommendations from us.

Pros:
- Location for a multi-day trip in Yosemite and surrounding areas (the valley one day and Tuolumne Meadows on another).

- Amenities in one location: nicely stocked general store, pool, hot tub, spacious rooms, games and activities for kids and adults, bar and restaurant.

Cons:
- Lack of other amenities for a hotel that seems to market itself as a luxury resort. No water bottles, no shaving kit, no washing machine detergent. It seems like they rather you purchase things from their general store than provide these things for free.

Which in turn leads to other methods they try to squeeze some more money from you, like at their restaurant. We ordered the poke tuna bowl, and the waiter asked if we wanted rice. What they don't disclose is that the rice is a $5 "side" which is a plate of plain basmati rice.. This happened twice on two different nights with two different waiters.

- Staff attitude. Either from a lack of training or an overall culture that leads to bad service. This is the biggest thing holding this hotel back from a better rating.

Example of bad service:
- When checking out, the front desk claimed that we had a breakfast buffet when we did not. After reviewing something on the computer, the staff member just said you're all set. No apology for the mistake. And no, thank you for staying multiple nights at the hotel. You know, the usual spiel any hotel instructs their staff to say. Whether it's genuine or not, it's just to be expected. The lack of hospitality reinforces my view of the staff's attitude.

- We had dinner reservations at their restaurant and when we arrived at that time, we couldn't be seated for another 20 minutes. The host's attitude was pretty aloof/laissez faire and gave us a non-apology.

Except for a few staff we interacted with, their general attitude is that they would prefer doing anything other than what they were currently doing and generally indifferent. If this were the attitude of a government worker, then that would be expected, but they're in the service and hospitality business in a hotel for leisure that touts itself as a fun and "sophisticated" (their words) resort.

I really love the serenity of this place. When you combine that with great service, delicious food, and wonderful ambiance; it’s a homerun. I went out on a tour with Tyler today and in addition to getting some exercise and being wow’d by the majesty of the giant sequoia on our hike; I got a great education too thanks to his background in environmental sciences. Overall a great experience at this lodge and I will be back.
