Room was a little old fashioned, comfy beds. The plug sockets were on other sides of the room from the bed which was frustrating and the bath took ages to fill up. Lovely service and the breakfast was really good. 10 euros for bathrobes and 20 refundable for towels for the pool. Didn’t get to try the hot tub as there were kids in it the whole time. Some older people got undressed in the pool space which meant you seen some nudity. The spa prices were better than the last place we went too. The area around the hotel was nice but not very nightlife like clubs or anything.

Das Maritim Hotel in Mellieha liegt sehr schön. Wir hatten die Junior Suite mit einem sehr geräumigen Zimmer, großem Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne, großem Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen und zwei Sonnenliegen gebucht. Vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen herrlichen Blick über den Ort bis aufs Meer. Das Hotel bietet Indoor und Outdoor Pools sowie Sauna und Spa, allerdings nur von 09:00 bis 19:00 Uhr.
Wir haben es auch sehr genossen, abends an der Bar zu sitzen und der Live-Pianomusik zu lauschen. Rund um das Hotel gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants. Die Buslinien halten direkt vor dem Hotel, so dass man alle Orte, Valleta, Mdina usw. gut mit dem Bus erreichen kann.
Das Frühstück im Maritim war hervorragend und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Man kann draußen oder drinnen sitzen. Alles in allem können wir das Maritim Hotel sehr empfehlen.

El hotel es bonito y está limpio, tampoco es nada del otro mundo. Lástima que en plena 2023 siga habiendo gente racista y retrógrada como la recepcionista, eso le quita muchos puntos al hotel.

Would avoid the restaurant in the hotel there is nice restaurants around the area . rooms could be a bit more clean we find hair in bed and toilet . spa and pool not the best it looked a bit more promising but overall for the price i think it is a good choice .

Nice hotel, would have given the maximum of stars if my room hadn’t been so noisy during the night with the cars, delivery trucks, buses and people shouting. I was at the street side and couldn’t sleep with an open window. Perhaps the backside is quieter.

Easily reachable by public transport from the airport with good connection to the beach and Valetta. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choices. The indoor pool is nice and warm. However, the outdoor pool is very cold, would be good to heat it a bit more. The rooftop has a lovely view of the town. On the downside, We had a room with balcony on the back building. Apparently there was a bar nearby so it was quite noisy at night. Also, it would be great if bathroom door was not glass as to keep the privacy of the person using the toilette. Other than that, we had a great time and look forward to coming back.

We had a lovely visit to Malta staying here. All the warnings about the car park are spot on. Only small cars less that 2m in length and height can get in and even then it is difficult to get up and down the 5 stories to the parking. However, everything else about the hotel is great. It is in a great location. Handy to get to the beaches. Visit Gozo

Horrible expérience : le pire hôtel dans lequel suis allé. Personnel désagréable, équipements vétustes, bas des meubles pourris et le pire de tout : SALE. Poils à terre, joints des sanitaires noirs, crasses diverses.

Of cause we are saddened that you stay with us was marred in any way , as you can see this is not the feedback we normally receive , however for the benefit of other members, we must address any concerns in a fair context. In this instance and although not mentioned in your review , your main concern was that after an error in your own booking dates which resulted in you arriving a day later .
On arriving the following morning , you had requested a refund for the night unused but at the same time claiming the same room for early check in ,as you had paid for the room.
As per most terms and condition we or agent were not in a position to do so.
We also respectfully submit that at no point did you make any reference to any issue with the room given,
After confrontational behavior directed at our staff, and witnessed by many , we contacted the agent in order to arrange a refund, to defuse and resolve the matter.
All our esteemed guests both present and future have my assurance that we do not condone rudeness from our staff but also ask that you may appreciate , when unable to give a guest the answer they desire this may also be unfairly perceived as rude or unhelpful .

Very good hotel. Have stayed here several times and I'm always satisfied. Very extensive, good breakfast. Very clean hotel. Friendly and professional staff, especially Martin who, during my most recent visit, came around every morning during breakfast to check on us if everything was alright. The bed is comfortable and the turn down service impeccable. My one small complaint is the shower head water pressure is weak and the angled tub makes it difficult to take a shower without making a huge mess on the bathroom floor.

New hotel, rooms cleaned daily. Service from maids to receptionists very nice. Breakfast is rich, and tasty and the products are fresh.
However, this is not a hotel for us as a family with two small children. The rooftop pool which is sunny all day is only for adults and teenagers from 16 years. The pool in the garden (garden well maintained and nice), clean but with very cold water, because there are tall buildings around and so the direct sun is on the pool maybe about 2 hours a day. There is a third pool inside the hotel but honestly we are not looking - I mean, people from northern Europe with children- in October to be in an indoor pool.

Great hotel with nice location, 100% recommend. The staff were very friendly, the room was tidy, big and comfortable. There were many options for breakfast. The garage is only for small cars, but you can also park by the street. :)

Important to note that parking garage is deep underground (several spirals to drive there) and good to go only with very small cars! Food is very good! 9th floor pool area very nice, but kids under 16 not allowed strictly thus not good to split family into 2 thus not possible to enjoy that pool for family of different age kids..

a very nice hotel for a family stay. In reality, it looks and looks better than in the photos. Spacious and nicely decorated room, nice-to-touch bedding, comfortable mattresses, very tasty and varied breakfast, plenty of restaurants and a bus stop next to the hotel. In the evening, a beautiful view of the cathedral from the roof in the Thai restaurant. In the evening, the beautifully illuminated .Hotel manager is interested in guests' opinions during breakfast :)
Even after checking out, you can use the hotel's services such as a shower, etc. Overall, the place is worth recommending and we will return to the hotel

Stopped here for a week in October. Brilliant. Staff very friendly. Room was really nice. Good air con, super bathroom and good blackout curtains. Breakfasts were really good, massive choice. We only used the restaurants a couple of times as we were b&b, but quality and choice of food very good. We did use the Thai restaurant by the rooftop bar. Great experience. All in all a super week in Malta at a great hotel. Thank you to all the staff at the Maritim Antonine.

We absolutely loved staying here, a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great food. The rooms were lovely and clean, a nice, big super king size bed that was so comfy. We stayed in the other part of the hotel (which is a bit confusing and not much signage) which has quick access to the street rather than keep going through the reception, the swimming pool is only shallow and small. The bar offers a great range of food and drink, try the bajtra cocktail ???? it's absolutely gorgeous ???? and at night try the Thai restaurant situated on the roof. The food is fresh and tasty, the view from here is excellent. Got to also say the staff here are absolutely fab, a big thank you to Victoria, David and another lady for helping me ????

I would not recommend the hotel. We arrived late in the evening. We got a room that was old, smelly, nasty, humanity and in the basement. The AC was not working and the mattress uncomfortably (there was a hard part in the middle). After reporting this to the reception they moved us but the issues where not solved. In total we moved 3 times over a stay from 4 nights. This made our stay very uncomfortable. We asked for our money back so we can move to an other hotel, but they refused..
There was a guy who claimed to be the guest relations manager. He was very rude, unprofessional and send security to us for no reason.. we felt like criminals in stead of guest. The next day other staff members said that he was not a manager.
Last but not least the breakfast was poor. We where not able to swim in the inside pool cause of to much chlorine. Our eyes started burning when we walked inside of the pool area.
There was a guy who claimed to be the guest relations manager. He was very rude, unprofessional and send security to us for no reason.. we felt like criminals in stead of guest. The next day other staff members said that he was not a manager.

We are so deeply saddened that our hotel did not completely fulfill your expectations, as you can see this is not the feedback we normally receive, however it is with the utmost respect that, for the benefit of any other members, we are given the opportunity to relay the facts in a correct and fair context.
As your confirmation will clarify, the reservation was for a standard twin room with street / village view with a request for a double bed. If I could highlight that such requests are in fact subject to availability. Where we do have a number of double beds with double mattresses, we also like many establishments adopt a wraparound system where a double topper is attached to two single beds.
The above being said we had actually allocated you a room with a double bed by incorporating an upgrade to a garden view room. The reception is as you may now be aware is on level 3 , however level one is actually level with the garden and pool, although I appreciate that being late in the evening this may not have been apparent .
We of course acknowledge that you voiced your concern with the air conditioning which resulted in our staff offering multiple room options for the evening in question, some of which have twin beds. Despite all efforts made, your insistence on having a double bed mattress resulted in the allocation of a room that was part of a family booking the following day and was clearly explained.
Please note that we have several guest relation staff and departmental managers covering a duty roster system ,there for the gentleman you refer to was not in any way deceiving you. On the contrary he, I understand, spent some time attempting to offer rooms to your liking. Unfortunately, these were refused due to the lack of a double bed and not the quality of room.
To resolve the issue in hand we were able to offer a new deluxe room with double bed on the early hours of the 17th , leaving the rest of your stay without issue.
In conclusion, we again offer our humblest apologies for any inconvenience, but sincerely hope that you will return to afford us the opportunity to restore your confidence in The Maritim Antonine Hotel

I would not recommend the hotel. We arrived late in the evening. We got a room that was old, smelly, nasty, humanity and in the basement. The AC was not working and the mattress uncomfortably (there was a hard part in the middle). After reporting this to the reception they moved us but the issues where not solved. In total we moved 3 times over a stay from 4 nights. This made our stay very uncomfortable. We asked for our money back so we can move to an other hotel, but they refused..
There was a guy who claimed to be the guest relations manager. He was very rude, unprofessional and send security to us for no reason.. we felt like criminals in stead of guest. The next day other staff members said that he was not a manager.

Everything is very clean and the staff is nice.
Sadly the outside pools aren't heated, so we couldn't use them in late November at 20 degrees outside temperature.
Many people mention the underground parking garage.
In the end it's really not as bad as people make it out to be. You go down a seemingly endless spiral which is described as narrow but really isn't. A Kia Picanto can go all the way down with the wheel turned all the way without correcting once, but you can easily drive a bigger car there.
The garage itself is clean and modern.
Would visit again!
