KEMPINSKI SAN LAWRENZ RESORT & SPA * * * * *
On pénètre dans ce superbe hôtel bâti dans une ancienne ferme par un majestueux hall au plafond de bois et aux balcons intérieurs en fer forgé. Les 122 chambres s’organisent harmonieusement autour d’une belle et grande piscine ornée d’un petit îlot avec trois palmiers. Le cadre y est agréable, et ce n'est pas loin des rochers de Dwejra Point. Les chambres et suites (demandez-en une avec vue sur la piscine !) offrent un confort attendu pour le standing de l’hôtel : climatisation, TV satellite, minibar, cafetière, service d’étage 24h/24. Un canapé-lit permet de loger jusqu’à quatre personnes, les tarifs sont alors dégressifs. Le mobilier est élégant et bien choisi. Le San Lawrenz abrite également l’un des Spa les plus réputés de l’île (voir plus loin), avec deux piscines intérieures dont une entièrement rénovée cette année, hammam et bain turc. Enfin, on y trouve deux restaurants avec terrasse ensoleillée, des courts de tennis et de squash, un salle de gym, des cours de yoga et une salle de jeux pour les enfants. Pour ceux qui auraient oublié la mer, un minibus vous conduit aux plages rocheuses toutes proches, où se trouve également un club de plongée (payant).

- The sound insulation was far from good. I can hear the voice from the other room.
- The room overall was old
+ The room was quite clean
+ The bathroom was elegant and comfortable. Also there was bathtub.
- The overhead shower waterflow is too slow.
+ The bed was comfortable.
- The room was a little bit cold at night, the air conditioner was turned off by itself after 15 minutes.
Well, 5 stars for the room.
Service:
"Almost" everyone was very helpful and friendly. On the very last day, we were asked by a reception for feedback, we said that the room was a little bit cold, but unfortunately she defended herself instead of receiving the feedback, saying that probably the window was open, which of course would be even colder.
During the breakfast on 28.12, it was overcrowded that we needed the stand in line to get a table for breakfast, which was of course uncomfortable, considering we had a baby with us.

Actually a little bit far from the city, but i can understand, that it won't be possible to build such a big hotel in the city.
But i must say, there won't be a better place to stay in Gozo than the Kempinski. I just expect more from hotel brand "Kempinski".
