Absolutely great place to stay. Nice rooms, perfect location, very reasonable price and the staff are simply the best, esp. Jon, James and Myrim at the front desk. They were so helpful, made perfect food and activity recommendations and were always polite and friendly.

L’hôtel est très beau, les chambres sont confortable, mais notre douche avait un petit problème : elle était bouchée et les portes de verres nous tombaient dessus.
Mise à part cela, l’emplacement à côté de la Plaza Mayor est super et le personnel est vraiment très sympathique.
Je recommande cet hôtel en plein centre de Madrid !

Perfect location- in the midst of plaza major with lots of restaurants and great walking area. Front desk staff always friendly and ready to help. Rooms are simple but good. Will be back!

The second time I stay in this property and my experience is always the best. Starting with the team, the coziness of the rooms, and the location, all is perfect with the Petit Palace chain and Posada del Peine is no exception. On this occasion, we were wonderfully hosted by Joanna, who is always smiling and willing to help. I experienced first hand the way she helps all guests. Talking about the location, it is 30 seconds away from Plaza Mayor and 2 minutes from Sol. The location is unbeatable! Maybe one suggestion would be to make the hotel more handicap accessible. I understand the antiquity of the building but it might help in the future.

La atención es inmejorable; todo el personal es muy amable y agradable. A esto hay que añadir que el hotel está muy céntrico, entre la Puerta del Sol y la Plaza Mayor, y desde ahí se puede pasear con facilidad. Tienen habitaciones de varios precios por lo que se puede elegir la que más guste.

Un lugar histórico donde viajar en el tiempo. El hotel más antiguo de Madrid, que data de 1610. Personal increíble con unas habitaciones muy coquetas y bien reformadas. Sin duda, una parte de la historia de Madrid a escasos metros de la Plaza Mayor.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans ce petit hôtel, le plus ancien de Madrid, qui est très bien situé entre la Plaza Mayor et le Marché San Miguel. Nous avons pu faire Madrid à pieds.
Le personnel est très sympathique, de bons conseils et très réactifs à nos demandes.
La chambre donne sur une petite ruelle avec un restaurant dans l'angle mais pour nous aucun problème de bruit.
Nous avons réservé une offre romantique avec chocolats et bouteille de cava.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Suite à notre séjour de 4 jours et 3 nuits au Petit Palace, en Août 2008, je peux vous recommander cet hôtel fort agréable, sité en centre ville, donc nous avons tout fait à pied, excepté l'aller-retour à l'aéroport. La propreté est impeccable, je recommande également le petit-déjeuner fort copieux!
