We visited Mandarin Madrid for dessert and tea but ended up having lunch as well. The ambiance and service is amazing the only comment I would say is we ordered mille-fueille for desert and it came smaller than my little finger???? I wish our waiter should warn us about the size of portion so we know what to expect ????

Come già fatto in altre città europee (Londra e Parigi) non potevamo non recarci a prendere un cocktail anche a Madrid presso il prestigioso Hotel Ritz e più precisamente all'interno del PICTURA BAR.
L'Hotel in  stile Belle Epoque all'esterno ed all'interno pregevolmente arredato offre degli ottimi cocktail preparati dal bravissimo Signor Pedro.
Il personale è talmente accogliente che anche qui siamo andati con piacere per diverse serate.
Una particolare menzione all'attenta, simpatica e più che cortese Signora Paloma che dona un accento speciale all'eleganza dell' ambiente ed ai gentilissimi ed efficienti camerieri Signori Juan, Gherardo e John i quali ognuno nel suo campo si sono espressi al meglio con grande dovizia e particolare signorilità.
Ci è gradito menzionare infine anche l'accoglienza e la gentilezza e cordialità del personale all'entrata e della reception.
È bello poter affermare che l'atmosfera lieta di tutto l'ambiente anche con gradite note musicali, ci ha permesso di trascorrere delle piacevoli e rilassanti serate .
Come abbiamo fatto noi esperienza da ripetere più volte quando si giunge a Madrid.
Il nostro giudizio è particolarmente positivo che potremo anche con piacere definire: ESPERIENZA STUPENDA!!

Just had the Ritz breakfast today and also afternoon tea on Wednesday. Delicious food and beautiful hotel and friendly staff. However, I am disappointed and mystified that my birthday, which I had mentioned when making reservations, was repeatedly NOT acknowledged by the staff. Not at afternoon tea and not at breakfast.
When I visited Japan last year around this time, I had afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi and staff there was attentive enough to celebrate my birthday.
I pointed that out in email to reservation after the omission at afternoon tea, and there was NO apology whatsoever from staff.
Very shocking oversight for a supposedly luxury 5 star Mandarin Oriental. Who is their GM and F&B Manager? Why the oversight???

Nothing short of breathtaking. This truly amazing property is only surpassed by its incredible staff. All requests were catered for in a professional and timely manner. The blend of Asian influence from MO paired with classic Ritz hospitality is a pairing not to be missed. A special thanks to Pedro in the bar for amazing recommendations and even better cocktails!

10 Exceeded expectations. The Ritz has the best staff a hotel could have.

Très bon accueil depuis l'aéroport. Par contre pour le départ, ce n'est pas à nous d'aller demander l'heure du transfert.

Excellent hotel. Great atmosphere, pure luxury and beautiful design of an old classic hotel Ritz. The Spa is amazing, all marble. Staff is friendly. Makes every guest feel special. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and they decorated the room when I returned. A special gift upon arrival. The Mandarin Oriental service is one of the best there.

First time, I a stayed at the Mandarin Ritz in Madrid and it was a fantastic experience. We had such a great time, the people are so attentive, breakfast is gorgeous, the bar is great, the spa magnificent and the room is decorated with extreme care and with an incredible attention to details. No tengo palabras para agradecer a todo el equipo por la inolvidable experiencia MO-Ritz Madrid.
Desde la reserva de habitación, pasando por el Sunday brunch, el Spa, los Desayunos, todo ha sido mágico.
El perfecto estado físico de sus alfombras y paredes es fácilmente apreciable.
La mesa de amenidades de bienvenida debería ser un “must” para todo huésped, se sube el precio pero se magnifica la experiencia!
Realmente MO Ritz Madrid tiene ubicación, infraestructura, coherencia de servicio y acceso físico sencillo al Parque El Retiro.
