Absolutely loved our time at La Pace del Palto. We felt like family the entire meal, we loved every bite and will recommend to friends and family. If you're in Rome, this is a must try.

Great cozy Italian restaurant. We did the Chefs recommended appetizers (good variety with great flavor), split a carbonara with truffle and shared a creme brulee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Does not feel like a tourist trap at all which my wife and I loved the most. Highly recommended, we will be back !

the wait staff was very cordial, but pushed specific food choices such as the chefs choice appetizer, which. lacked. variety and actually seemed like the chef was cleaning out his pantry. I surprised by an out of season eggplant dish in winter, bitter and mostly skin. With that being said the frozen aperol spritz was a pleasant treat. The worst part of the meal was from the second plate menu, which was advertised as beaf strips with artichoke. My spouse had what was supposed to be steak with black truffle. Both dishes were made from steamed cheese steak meat and tasted chemical. A check of the Italian menu showed a more appropriate translation for the meat was rags. It was awful. We could not eat it, paid the bill, and left. Any chef who served something like that to a customer should be ashamed of himself.

We have had an amazing experience in La Pace del Palato. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday and couldn't have chosen better. Renato and all the staff were amazing from the moment we entered. Starting with an unusual innovative Aperol Spritz continuing with an amazing Risotto and eggplant tapenade (offered from Renato) The food was well presented with an excellent taste, We chose beef dishes. The Chianti Classico a dream! A small, charming restaurant, perfect for a romantic dinner in the amazing neighbourhood of Piazza Navona!

Desde que entras hasta que sales, sólo disfrutas. El dueño te trata como invitado de su casa (gran huésped); simpático, agradable y con clase. La comida es, sencillamente, la mejor que he tomado en Roma (y viví ahí durante 1 año). Aún no sé cómo no lo había conocido hasta la fecha. Sin duda, parada obligada en cada visita a esta gran ciudad.

You just Have To come to this place. Food was something else, the taste and quality of the food was crazy good, the owner was the nicest person of Roma, and god the Truffle was mind blowing, those Carbonara Mama Mia! Just go there or you'll def miss something out!

Un ristorante ricercato. Pochi tavoli. Tutto curato. Il proprietario di origini napoletane è molto gentile e disponibile ad assecondare tutte le richieste. Anche la nuora , una bellisima persona, è gentile, sorridente e disponibile ad assecondare le richieste dei clienti. Insomma vi troverete in un ambiente familiare. Il cibo è ottimo. Una rivisitazione della cucina romana, ma sempre legata ai sapori tradizionali. Il tutto innaffiato da buon vino. Complimenti davvero.

Non soffermatevi sulla meravigliosa posizione di questo ristorante....
Entrate....fatevi accogliere dalla splendida Fabiana che con il suo sorriso vi accompagnerà in un viaggio tra gusto e tradizione.
Tecnica e prodotti del territorio si incontrano per un risultato da ristorante stellato.
Il padrone di casa?
Andatelo a conoscere.
Ne vale la pena.

I had high expectations for this place given the high praise in many reviews. We had the carbonara and the meatballs. Meatballs were outstanding and a must. The carbonara wasn’t anything more spectacular than other carbonaras we tried throughout italy. Very al dente. Atmosphere was nice as it is tucked away from the busy tourist filled streets in a back alley however many people walk by if you eat outside to try to sell you things (Very annoying while trying to enjoy a romantic dinner). The other odd thing was that before giving us the bill, our waitress asked if we would be paying cash or card and if we were tipping. Very off-putting. If that’s all of a sudden an expectation in Italy then that’s news to us and perhaps they should consider changing their credit machines to accept a tip that way. We had no more cash as it’s our final days in Italy. Not sure we felt like tipping after that anyway. In our Canadian culture we don’t exactly talk about tipping though it’s part of our routine as our servers are paid less than minimum wage and provide consistent service throughout the meal. Overall this was a fine meal but not an experience worth repeating.

Cuisine excellente. Cher, restaurant type gastronomique donc quantités faibles mais qualité au rendez-vous. C’est tout.
Service déplorable, soyez prêt à attendre ! Nous avons attendu 40 minutes entre la fin de notre repas et la potentielle prise de commande de la suite .. nous avons fini par partir ! C’est le résultat d’un manque d’organisation total de l’équipe de serveurs, une serveuse cours partout et le reste de l’équipe brasse de l’air … dommage !

Très bel endroit situé dans le cœur de Rome. On y mange tout un tas de spécialités italiennes très bien cuisinées. Les deux plats de pâtes que nous avons prit étaient succulents.
Les prix ne sont pas excessifs.
