Cibo ottimo,porzioni giuste ( unico appunto il carciofo alla romana doveva essere " capato" un po di più troppe foglie dure) personale gentile e molto attento e disponibile. Nonostante la molta affluenza di turisti non è "turistico" prezzi nella media . Nota positiva il vino servito nella glacette.????????

This lovely restaurant is apparently one of the late Anthony Bourdains favourites.

It was very popular and I was seated straight away. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

So I had to come and try the artichoke which was in season.

I ordered:
'Tris of the House', Jewish style artichoke, fried artichockes, artichockes carpaccio.
With a couple glasses of wine.

I would highly recommend this restaurant and dish in particular as it was fantastic!

My stars come from no complaints. Maybe it's not a "5 star" or even "4 star" joint but it meets all the points. We had an artichoke appetizer, perfectly prepared. Bypassed the first but seconds didn't disappoint with lamb and ossobucca. Well cooked and nicely flavored. We got the mixed desserts which were so enjoyable. Here's the question: The place is in the Roman Jewish ghetto but it's filled with arab workers (Moroccans). The owner, the servers, even the chefs. So while it didn't disappoint, it might leave some to question the authenticity of the flavors. Anyway... Just our review. We loved it and have eaten here twice.

Ottimo pranzo all'esterno del locale accolte da Shariff il capo cameriere affascinante e molto cordiale ci ha consigliato per incominciare un carciofo alla Giudia croccante e saporito accompagnato da un pezzo di baccalà fritto buonissimo e una focaccia olio e rosmarino, a seguire er primo un prelibato tonnarello cacio e pepe con carciofi una porzione divisa in due abbondante e un calice di vino bianco . Consiglio vivamente per la bontà del cibo e la cordialità del personale molto attento alla clientela.

Premetto che viaggio sola quindi pranzo e ceno sola… Mi sono sentita subito a casa cibo ottimo servizio rapido e personale cordiale a partire dal proprietario carciofi in tantissime pietanze la prossima volta assaggerò il resto.. grazie

We have been to Il Giardino’s for lunch and dinner multiple times over the past few years and it seems as though it is becoming a bit of a tourist spot. The food was a little hit or miss, but the house wine is still great. The services wasn’t as personalized, maybe a bit rushed? And the bill had a place to leave a tip!!??! Kind of a rarity in Italy. Which drove also added to the tourist spot feel. All in all, I would probably find someplace next time we are in Rome.

Probablemente la peor experiencia en todos los aspectos que hemos tenido desde que usamos google para hacer reseñas. Voy a empezar por lo mal educado de uno de los camareros (déspota, prepotente...), junto con otro de sus compañeros que les reía la gracia. Pedimos comida sin gluten, todo bajo presión del camarero que al ver que era menor cantidad de pedido de lo esperado su trato fue delignable. Fue a hablar con su amigo para reírse de lo que habíamos pedido y en lugar de traer los platos prácticamente nos los lanzó. La cantidad fue...para no volver por allí en todos los aspectos junto con el precio del mismo....
En fin...primero la educacion y el respeto hacia los comensales y después lo demás.

Ho preso l’abbacchio scottadito e mi hanno portato delle parti meno nobili dell’agnello con delle patate vecchie e acide immangiabili! Lo faccio notare ma mi viene detto che sono di giornata!!! Non si sa di quale anno.

The special plate of the restaurant is so delicious, it is artichoke it is called TRIS DELLA CASA
And pasta 7 sins is super delicious
The creme brulee is out of this world ????????

Tris Della Casa was my favorite, very authentic and delicious.
Also Bistecca Di Manzo Alla Griglia was just perfect.
For dessert we had Crema Catlana and tiramisu….. just mama mia!
Overall ambience was truly genuine, highly recommend

Excellent Roman Jewish food, friendly service, and absolutely beautiful atmosphere with the ceiling and ruins in the courtyard. Highly recommend. The fried zucchini flowers and Jewish style artichokes were our favorite!

Restaurant especialitzat en la carxofa romana al centre del call jueu de Roma. Amb una terrassa en una plaça preciosa, amb vistes a les ruïnes de la portalada de la Victòria i un local amb un interior molt ben conservat.
El menjar és excel·lent, la pasta també, i el propietari està a l'entrada pelant carxofes tot el dia.

Ottima esperienza in termini di
qualità del cibo e servizio. Anche se in zona iper turistica ( me compreso) rimane un buon rifornimento per una pausa pranzo. Mi
permetto di consigliare un po’ di attenzione per le toilette e limitare l’uso ai solo clienti (anche se riconosco che la vostra iniziativa di farle utilizzare anche a chi non è vostro cliente è positiva). Grazie e alla prossima

Parmesan huile sel poivre... Il faut demander! Rien n'est amené avec les plats, un peu de citron avec les pâtes vongoles aurait été sympa mais honnêtement elles étaient très bonnes. Cadre sans fioriture bon rapport qualité/prix

Nous avons pris un assortiment d'entrées frites (artichaut, cabillaud, fleurs de courges, falafels). Elles étaient très sèches, trop cuites. Décevant.
