We spent nearly a week at CasaCau for my family vacation last month. It was a perfect location, just down the block from Trevi Fountain, and also an ideal location to explore Rome.
The rooms were spacious, and well equipped and decorated and clean. The kitchen was a huge benefit and the morning Italian breakfasts were a perfect way to start the day - along with making some espresso. Pino was very responsive and even helped us arrange our transport as well. I highly recommend this place and would certainly stay here when we come back to Rome !

Soffitti alti, ampi spazi, vista sui vicoli intorno al Quirinale, visitare la fontana di Trevi anche di notte, al centro di Roma insomma. Per un soggiorno rilassante e eccitante. Grazie !

My Mum and I stayed at CasaCau last month - it was truly amazing!
First of all, it’s in the best location in Rome, super central and within walking distance to everything. It’s on the same street as the Trevi fountain! (this was a joy for my Mum and I to realise) If you’re from London, imagine CasaCau located in Trafalgar Square or in the middle of Covent Garden!
Inside the apartment is beautiful and so elegant! We stayed on the first floor with a gorgeous bedroom, balcony and luxurious bathroom that includes a sauna! Everything about the apartment was executed with class and great care. Importantly, everything - every towel, bed sheets, furniture, everything was extremely clean and of the best quality. We felt at home and safe instantly. The apartment was dreamy! We had a wonderful 10-day stay. Pino and Zibi took the best care of us, we couldn’t have asked for more. It is my favourite holiday and I cannot wait to return next year!xx

We were delayed in Rome and had to find a last minute booking and Pino at Casacau rescued us for our extra week in Rome! Everything we needed was provided and the apartment was so chic and romantic. Our unexpected stay ended up being the best of the year! Thank you CasaCau!!

This was our first family trip to Rome with four kids. We we’re looking for authenticity during our stay to feel this city more deeply. The Casa Cau was a great place to stay for six people. We booked two rooms and both offered us enough space, with own kitchen and appliances,which was convenient when you have infant and toddler in your company. The weather was extremely hot,but AC worked perfectly. Every day room service, morning breakfast with fresh eggs,croissants,milk and bread were always offered on time with care. Another important thing is that the hotel is located 150 meters from fountain Trevi and 7 minutes walk from Spanish Square. For those who are interested in shopping can find lots of interesting things in Rinascente in the neighbourhood. The owner is very nice and always eager to help with taxi,advice, as well as other staff.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Casa Cau. Sie liegt nahe dem Trevi Brunnen, sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten das Appartment mit Balkon, super stylisch und dennoch sehr gemütlich. Eine Oase! Pino war äußerst hilfsbereit in allen organisatorischen Angelegenheiten. Vielen Dank auch an Zibi für die Unterstützung und das tolle Frühstück! Wir kommen wieder!

We booked the two corner rooms for a trip with my parents. Great location (minutes away from Trevi Fountain and even closer to piccolo buco) and in walking distance to key attractions. Great service through WhatsApp and we were able to keep one room until 2pm to store our luggages. Would recommend on all fronts!

Is it a boutique hotel? Is it a private apartment? It's actually the best of both worlds. CasaCau is fantastic. The space is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the host Pino is THE BEST. When in Rome I will only ever stay at CasaCau.

I stayed in the studio apartment which was a large space with a little balcony (not really a view however a quiet back street) a lovely bathroom with a steam room. Kitchenette was perfect size. Very quiet, clean and quirky design.
Pino and Zibi couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast with fresh pastries, eggs, fruit etc. I asked for extras options which was no problem. Pino is easy to contact and responds quickly to questions. Great location, lovely apartment. My only very minor comment is that the room was a little low on natural light however in August heat that was a relief. An Oasis in the heart of Rome.

This is the PERFECT boutique place to stay in Rome. You are 1 minute from the Trevi fountain. The apartments are decorated so beautifully it feels like home. The amenities are generous. The most delicious box of breakfast goodies are delivered to your door every morning. I will definitely stay here every time I visit Rome.

The place is a hidden gem, in a great location. The apartment is walking distance from almost all sites. It is clean, a very big and spacious place. And tge owner Pino is very hospitable, kind and understanding. Greatly recommended.

Wonderful experience at CasaCau! I stayed for two weeks in a charming corner apartment #5 – a tastefully designed and decorated one bedroom with very high ceilings, lots of ample space, a well-equipped kitchenette, a spacious sitting area, and a lovely bathroom stocked with Le Labo products. I loved the great quality Italian linens and towels.
It is a renovated 18th century building, located within walking distance from the Trevi Fountain. The location is busy, but the apartment has soundproof windows with wooden shutters. The air conditioning was superb. The breakfast bag hanging on the doorknob every morning was filled with freshly baked bread, croissant, milk and eggs.
The team was lovely and thoughtful. Thank you Pino and Zibi !

Staying at CasaCau this trip to Rome was memorable. The room was very comfortable and beautifully styled. It was equipped with all the amenities that one needs and more. The breakfast bag hanging on the doorknob was so thoughtful and made us smile. Every object in the room was carefully curated and well done. The location is super convenient and walking distance to any major sites as well as to delicious enotecas and trattorias. Because of the location, there were tourists right outside but the noise was completely blocked with the thick walls and CasaCau was truly an oasis. I want to thank the owner because he was responsive to any questions/needs. I will recommend this place to any one coming to Rome.

Second stay at CasaCau. Wonderful host. Convenient location. A lively little street, but you can't hear a thing through the insulated windows. A/C blasts as needed - separately controlled in each room as you like it. We walked just about everywhere.

Not only a great accommodation and location but what makes the stay are the hosts. Really felt like personal experience was important to them. Small features such as a welcome box was so valued. Cannot recommend more!

CasaCau is my favorite place to stay in Rome. The location is ideal- very central, yet the apartments are private. Every detail of the design lets you know you are staying in a special place. Wonderful amenities and very helpful staff that offer suggestions to experience Rome like a local. Grazie!

Absolutely the most lovely experience. We stayed in the top apartment and can't fault a thing about the unit. Great little kitchenette to meet occasional needs. Lovely bathroom with a steam room shower. The sofa was so comfortable and the pullout bed was amazing...we didn't need it but that's opened it for us in case as we have kids, and i opted to nap on it BC I loved it so much. There were two beds in the bedroom and very comfortable. Lovely blackout shudders. It's a very busy area during the day, so nice and central, but the windows were basically sound proof and we had no issues sleeping. The sitting area and bedroom are huge rooms with ample space and very tall beautiful ceilings that give you the Roman architectural charm.. It was so beautifully decorated I followed up to ask about paint colours, curtains, etc. Clearly a lot of care in picking out quality and beautiful decor. Very romantic and sophisticated space, but also friendly and accommodating of our children.
The team is responsive and lovely. The breakfast was great and they gave all sorts of options which thrilled our young kids (4&6).
Truly made our holiday staying at CasaCau.

Absolutely 100% recommend it!
