Avis SEVEN SUITES Rome

İyi ki seçmişiz,5 gün oldukça rahat ettik.

50+ year old couple, visiting Rome for the first time. An Italian friend recommended this neighbourhood, away from the tourists and this perfectly fit the bill. Excellent location in a local neighbourhood but still close enough to the tourist attractions. Lovely area with parks, squares and fantastic restaurants all around. It's a series of rooms in a residential building, so there is no lobby or facilities but the room is clean, tidy and very comfortable. You get a coupon for breakfast at the bakery downstairs so we stood and sipped coffee and pastries like the locals do! Need to read the instructions carefully cause there is no lobby or front desk - need to key in code to enter building.

I really enjoyed the accommodation. Large room, clean, with a small balcony and a king size bed. A few disadvantages to note is the limited breakfast at Linari (maximum a beverage and 2 croissants or small pizzas), limited amenities and the fact that they don't respond immediately to e-mails, due to the 8:30-12:30 time interval that the reception is open.

We had a lovely stay in a nice area. Room was good and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast cafe is close by and the food, service and coffee is ????????

Wunderschönes Hotel in einem ruhigen Viertel von Rom. Man ist sehr schnell (10-15 Minuten) zu Fuß in der Innenstadt, wenn man den Weg kennt. Leider ist die Metro-Anbindung nicht ideal, da die nächste Haltestelle etwas weiter entfernt ist. Mit dem Bus kommt man aber auch überall hin.
Die Zimmer waren wirklich wunderschön und sind definitiv über dem römischen Standard. Auch fanden wir die Wände dick genug, dass man keine Nachbarn hörte. Lediglich im Flur konnte es mal lauter werden, das war auch total okay.
Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch, aber an Sonntagen war leider die Schlange vor der Bäckerei sehr lange. Hier frühstückt man nicht im Hotel, sondern in einer typisch-italienischen Bäckerei, die auch von den Anwohnern stark benutzt wird. Das Frühstück hat aber klasse geschmeckt und war mehr als ausreichend.

房間乾淨舒服，早餐超級好吃（內含1杯espresso+ Cappuccino,及2個可自選的可頌croissant)，早餐的餐廳是一家名店，常常有人排隊，唯獨美中不足是電梯比較老舊很難等，服務人員也都很親切，是可以推薦的飯店住宿，附近公車很多，交通便利。

Heel mooie, luxe kamer met balkon. Van te voren duidelijke instructies over de entree. In eerste instantie lijkt de buurt wat verwaarloosd als je van station Piramide naar de B&B loopt. Later blijkt het een heel charmante wijk, met veel restaurantjes en voldoende openbaar vervoer. We hebben ons 5 dagen heel welkom gevoeld.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!

We chose this hotel as it states on their website “…soundproofed windows and walls to guarantee our guests privacy and silence”. A bold claim that I can assure you is absolutely not true. Local residents live above, and you can even hear them walking, let alone anything more than that, which is much louder. Reception is manned 8.30-12.30. Durning this time, the 2 receptionists would speak, mostly loudly, and we could hear all from our “soundproofed room”. We could also hear the cleaners, naturally.
When I consulted reception on our first morning, I was greeted with hostility and denial. I explained the situation, asking for a resolution (room change or partial refund). I was told “there is nothing they could do”.
It gets worse. I wrote an email. And wow. What a rude, abrupt, in denial response (would ‘Seven Suites’ give me permission to add the email?). To quote a few lines:
- “…the rooms are all soundproof, including our windows, just as it says on the site…”. I note that when I quizzed them in person soon after receiving this email, I asked if they thought I was lying. She nodded her head. I wish I was joking. I suggested that perhaps she spends a night in one of the rooms.
- “The reception opens at 08.30 every morning and being a very simple paperwork no noise is produced since the receptionists work on the computer in silence, which is why your complaint has no foundation.”. Again, factually incorrect. They spoke many times, constantly waking us up (they have made a clear contradiction here, as why would it matter if they didn’t work in silence as the rooms are “soundproofed” right?). Same with the cleaners, which we wouldn’t have a problem with normally, but we were “guaranteed” silence in our room.
- “We are certainly not responsible for the fact that other guests can make noise in the evening.” When reception is only manned for 4 hours, where there are loud people etc, there is no one to complain to and seek that they stop. Again, no problem if the room is “soundproofed” and “silent”.
I note the WI-FI didn’t work on the second day. We had to buy a sim.
I also note the room itself was tidy and clean.
Just don’t expect a quiet room (quite the contrary, it is very loud) or any sort of solution solving from the staff.
I’d book elsewhere!

È riduttivo definirlo un b&b. Gli elementi degni di nota sono sicuramente la pulizia, la posizione strategica e le stanze nuovissime.

I stayed here recently with my sister and it was great. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. It is a bit out of the way but there is transit that takes you everywhere quickly. I recommend checking out the local market just a couple blocks over for lunch or dinner.

The rooms are charming and very modern! The reception is only open in the morning! So be sure that they have send you the codes to enter the building!!

Originally, my review about this location wouldn't have been so great. Honestly, you can't control what the street looks like. But once you get inside the place, it's so awesome and beautiful. Great cafe downstairs. You're amongst the people grocery store nearby. Safe with good views. Staff were kind. I'm glad I decided to stay and I would definitely book again.

Un bed and breakfast piuttosto carino. Non è molto distante dalla stazione di Roma Ostiense, saranno dieci minuti a piedi. Anche se situato in un condominio, una volta dentro sembra di essere in un corridoio di un albergo. Le stanze sono comode, con scrivania e pulite. L'unica cosa che a me non piace è la colazione limitativa con i ticket per il bar, che comunque prevede due pezzi e il bar è giusto sotto.

Very nice and clean rooms, pretty well centrally located and not far from Rome city centre (>2km, 25mins walk).

Sehr gepflegte Apartments, perfekte Sauberkeit, nettes Personal. Frühstück gibt's in der Bar gleich nebenan, Croissants und Cappuccino. Gute Anbindung der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Sehr zu empfehlen
