Un des hôtels historiques de Rome. La construction a débuté par un simple couvent puis a été repensé par l’architecte Francesco Borromini ! L'hôtel se trouve en plein cœur du Trastevere, au pied du Gianicolo. L’entrée est magnifique, elle donne sur le cloître et son jardin à l’italienne avec fontaine ; une oasis de tranquillité. Les chambres sont les anciennes cellules des religieuses, un charme irrésistible. Autre point fort, la terrasse sur le toit, une des plus belles du quartier !

If you prefer hotels with charm, rather than soul less places, this your place.
The hotel, owned by the famous Agnellis if I’m not mistaken,
is located in a big, old monastery.
In summer, breakfast is served in the beautiful, calm courtyard.
And if you, or your partner is a morning bird, they even have a church inside the hotel, where they still do masses around 8.30. h. in the morning.

- very clean rooms
- Hotel is located on the roman rive gauche,
in Trastevere. It’s 8 minute walk to the other side
- Hotel has a gorgeous roof terrace, bar, restaurant & 24 hs concierge.
- Lime scooters and E bikes are found all around the hotel. Take bikes. The cobblestone streets will kill your back on a scooter.
- Car garage on site
- The Gianicolo hill, with its beautiful park& views is behind the hotel
- Bathrobes, slippers, water cooker& instant coffee in room
- Air conditioning & heating in room works. Don’t forget: Rome is colder than you think in winter.
- Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner…hair dryer, bidet…is there
- WiFi is good
- Trastevere nightlife& restaurants are around the corner. If you’re a foodie, careful. Check out the Slow Food or Ganbero Rosso guide instead.
- Super safe area. Police office right a around the corner.
- Highly recommend the Luxe rooms Nr . 308 or 310.
- There you’ll have a fantastic view onto Rome, but it’s still quiet, because the rooms go to a calm alley.
- Plus it’s northern, which may help during the summer heat.
- If not available, the rooms onto the courtyard must be calm too.
