Snídaně v restauraci bohaté a chutné.
Minus:
The service and location are amazing. It is extremely clean and smells great.
The front desk and concierge went above and beyond.
I had an incident with my cellphone and they helped me to solved the situation.
Thank you again!
Sina Bernini Bristol is in the best area that is slightly away from the big crowds but only a 10 minute walk to the busier area.
There is plenty of shops and restaurants immediately out the front door too!
The underground is literally 10 steps away in case you need to get to Rome Termini Train Station or further to Rome Airport! The hotel is really in a excellent location for sight seeing and getting in and out of Rome! Breakfast was good, especially the coffee! Rome is a great city to walk and from this hotel, you have so much in a short distance, easily walkable!
The rooftop restaurant gives a beautiful view too!
Location is prime walking distance to historical sites.
Clean spacious rooms.
Only downside is the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the room next door and doors keep on slamming! They should invest in door stops otherwise it is very hard to sleep.
Apart from that everything is great.
Upon checkout we went to an event out of the city. On arrival at the new hotel, we realised we had stupidly left both our phone chargers plugged into the wall next to the bed in the room at the Sina Bernini. We called and eventually got through (after a long time of trying!) We explained where we’d left them and that we were returning to the city in the morning to collect them. We were assured they’d be waiting for us at the front desk “if they had been found”.
I’m sure by now you know where this is going - apparently “they weren’t there”. Which roughly translates to any language as “our cleaners have decided to pocket them”.
Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
Yes it was our silly fault for leaving them, but phone chargers?! Really?!?
So no, we won’t be returning and we don’t recommend. We stayed elsewhere for our next two nights and what a choice that was! No rooftop restaurant, but fabulous individually styled rooms, bigger, fluffier towels and robes and a homely feel. All things the Sina Bernini Bristol could benefit from.
Our room had NO air all week. Thankfully I booked a balcony room so we ended up sleeping with our balcony doors open every night to get some cool air. The bathroom left a lot to desire. The shower knobs were falling out of the wall and there was mold all over the windows in the bathroom. I’m assuming our room was next to a service room because literally every morning and every night leaving and returning to the room we had the staff cleaning carts right outside our door. I stay in a Marriott every week and had really high hopes for this place on our anniversary trip but sadly this property was a major let down.
Service is clearly lacking in this hotel. For a rate above $300 per night, you’d expect these basic things to be working.
Breakfast was ok, the buffet was varied but nothing outstanding.
The room was ok, clean and modern. The bathroom was simple, a few mold spots in the shower.
This is my second stay at a Sina hotel (last one was in Milano). I may skip this chain next time I’m in Italy, as I continue to be disappointed.
The positive is the reception very great people specially Danilo (even though he is new. He is a great person and very helpful)
I was going to put 3 stars for the room quality, but then I realized this is a “five star” hotel. I put my review to a two star. The rooms here leave a lot be desired. It is a very normal hotel room if you have A/C in your room (apparently a five star hotel cannot have that in all its rooms)
Apparently one half of the hotel rooms have an old A/C unit that only handles heating. This is what the staff told me. I had to have a very small fan brought into my room
Long story short, the location is definitely great, but you can save yourself a lot of money by getting something else near by. Not worth your hard earned money…
The location was great and staff were friendly and professional. The rooftop bar has a lovely view of Rome.
I had two kids, but this has never happened with me anywhere else. It was kind of strange as I did requested them to switch on the lights but the never did. Rest of the things were top notch
