Beautiful hotel rooms are small but spotless and comfortable. Great location for wandering the city. Receptionists are so friendly and very helpful even the cleaners we met were lovely people. The rooftop bar has great views but was not a nice place to hang out in because the two barmen were not very friendly or welcoming to my husband and completely ignored me making us both uncomfortable. Apart from the bar staff we really enjoyed our stay

Very nice hotel, in a great location, quiet but still within walking distance to many attractions. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful with local restaurant recommendations(they didn’t disappoint)
There are no kettle and iron facilities in the room and in our room you need to be careful getting in and out of the shower not to burn ‘stuff’ as the towel rail is right next to the door of the shower.
Breakfast was good, bacon, sausage and egg as well as fruit etc.
The roof top bar is very nice with some great views and is nice to chill away from the hustle and bustle.
We went to have dinner up there one night but was told we couldn’t as the chef was too busy, that was a shame as it wasn’t even half full but not to worry as there’s plenty of places to eat local.
Would definitely consider stopping here again when we return to Rome.

Our family (2 Adults and a 3 year old) stayed for 3 nights in early March. The rooms were beautiful, the rooftop terrace for breakfast was wonderful. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful, even when we needed to change from a single bed to a cot late during our first evening.
The location is great, a 10/15 walk from the Trevi Fountain and accessible to various bus routes.
100% recommend and would stay again if we ever come back to Rome.

Weve just returned from a 5 day family break to Rome (4th - 8th March) and stayed at this lovely hotel.
All staff were very helpful and friendly from reception staff to restaurant/bar staff and housekeeping. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm hello everytime.
The rooftop restaurant was lovely, either for a snack a meal or just drinks. Breakfast had a good variety of choice and was plentiful. Certainly set us up for a busy day exploring. The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing. Even when it was cold at night, they had heaters on to make it more comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of beers and pizza in the daytime sun too.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was a kettle to make a cuppa early morning and late at night.
The hotel was slightly out the way from the hustle and bustle but it was only a 10 minute walk to the buses and main areas.
There was a few restaurants in the same street and on adjoining streets. All within a short walk of 2 - 5 minutes.
If we return to Rome we will definitely stay at the Marcella Royal again.

Our stay always includes a buffet breakfast which we have always found to be excellent.
The Hotel restaurant is located on the roof and offers great views over the city and always indicates what the weather will be that day.
The long time serving staff are always helpful and accommodating. The staff at the reception, housekeeping and the bell hops are always pleasant and friendly. We highly recommend the Marcella Royal Hotel to meet all your needs when in Rome. Steven…
