Worst experience I had in Rome. Do not stay here. Front desk agent lied about seeing our 2 room reservations and I was forced to book another hotel on short notice. She then suddenly “found” my second room after I had already booked another place. They have now refused to refund my money for both rooms and the front desk agent lied about our experience. Cannot recommend you to not stay here enough.

Hotel Alexandra was well-situated in the heart of Rome near the Trevi Fountain and well within walking distance of several sights, including the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and the Spanish Steps. It seemed a pretty safe area. The housekeeping service was very good and the front desk staff friendly and accommodating. Every receptionist spoke English very well. The economy rooms are very tight, though--especially the bathroom. One could almost use the toilet and brush his teeth at the sink at the same time! The shower pressure was excellent with both rain shower head and hand sprayer with plenty of hot water, but it was about the same size as you would find in a car-towed RV (caravan). The bed was comfortable enough to get a restful sleep, and the table at the foot was handy. Narrow French doors opened to a small, fairly private balcony and provided ample outside air if desired. We did not elect to include the breakfast. Restaurants were readily available. Our reservation was through Expedia.

Le pire hôtel jamais fait de ma vie.
A fuir.
La chambre n'a rien à voir avec les photos. Une chambre minuscule avec des meubles d'une autre époque. Une salle d'eau et WC dans un espace minuscule avec un aménagement
d'une autre époque, aucune place pour les affaires de toilette. que des vieilleries..
Il n'y a pas d'insonorisation, on attend tous les bruits du couloir.

My sister and I arrived here for our first three days in Italy. The location was perfect for all our adventures. Close to the metro , surrounded by good restaurants The staff were great at giving directions and answering all our questions

Nice hotel with the basic needs covered. There was an issue with the heat, and in order to turn it on and off, you had to contact the reception. It is close to a metro station, although it is worth walking to the main attractions if you are able.

Fijn hotel op een goede plek in Rome om de stad te bezoeken. Kamers waren wat klein, maar dat is te verwachten. Alles was wel schoon en moderne badkamer. Prima uitvalsbasis om Rome te bezoeken.

Husband and I stayed here just one night on our way out of Italy and were very pleased with the room, staff, and service. We had a lovely large room, modern bathroom with a great shower, and a very pleasant terrace all to ourselves. The hotel arranged our transport from cruise ship to the hotel and then to the airport the next morning. It's an excellent location and I would definitely recommend.
