Check the prices of the cocktails by the pool before proceeding. Whoa!! I live in Nashville so I know allllll about expensive drinks but hot damn I nearly passed out when I saw my bill lmao.
Slick tiles in the entry way to the hotel. Be careful. I fell and bruised my knee.
Cute quirky hotel though. Loved the location and the vibe.

Pros: It’s a beautiful hotel, great location a block away from south beach. The towels and chairs included for the beach was great.

Cons: The room is tiny. We had 2 carryon suitcases and could not have them both open as there was not enough space. The washroom did not provide enough privacy. Housekeeping is inconsistent - our washroom amenities were never replenished.

Service was patchy and depends on who you encounter. Some staff were friendly in passing. At arrival we were not offered drinks. At check out the agent working was very dismissive.

I had a 3-night stay at the goodtime hotel as a solo traveler. The standard queen room is tiny, but it was perfect for a short stay. The whole hotel is decorated nicely, and all facilities seemed clean and well taken care of.

For the beach, they provide free beach chairs on the 7th Street Beach. You can also get beach towels, and even a tote bag in case you need one from the front desk.

The pool is nice and clean. There was a pool party on one of the days I stayed there - if you’re not into pool parties, or you’re a solo traveler, it might not be your jam. But on the non-party days, the pool was calm and enjoyable.

The location is also great, easy to get to all Miami Beach attractions and very walkable. They also provide 2-hour free bike rentals through Zybra app.

Front desk staff was helpful with simple requests as well. I would stay here again!

Really really enjoyed our stay! Small rooms but every detail in this hotel is carefully crafted. It’s beautiful inside and outside. Checkout the library and look at every piece of furniture and you’ll know what I mean. 5 5 5 highly recommend

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! TRASH

My wife and I, along with our kids, made a last-minute decision to spend our spring break in Miami. Looking for a place to stay, we stumbled upon this hotel through the Marriott app. What a colossal mistake that turned out to be!

As a seasoned traveler, I understand the concept of hotel availability and the occasional wait for a room. So, when I kindly informed the hotel a day prior about our 11 a.m. arrival, I expected at least some effort to accommodate us. Little did I know, we were in for a nightmare.

Upon arrival at 11 a.m., we were met with the unsurprising news that our room wasn't ready. Fine, we thought, and decided to make the best of it by spending some time at the pool. "We'll call you when it's ready," they said with forced politeness.

After two long hours, our kids were hungry and tired, so we checked back in at the lobby. To our dismay, the room was still not prepared. Another hour and a half passed, during which we tried to kill time with lunch, but our patience was wearing thin.

Finally, at 2:45 p.m., we had had enough. Exhausted kids, weary parents, and no room in sight. I approached the desk, and the same receptionist, with her plastic smile, hurried off to get the manager. When he appeared, it was clear he was annoyed at being bothered.

"Sir, your room is still not ready. It's a larger room with two beds, and the current occupants have requested a late checkout. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.," he recited mechanically, without a hint of empathy. I wish I had noted his name for this review.

We were finally ushered into our room at 3:45 p.m., a whopping four hours after our scheduled arrival. And what a room it was - apparently, one of the only two rooms in the entire hotel with two beds. The irony? It was a handicap room, situated all the way down the hallway on the sixth floor (Room 673). Imagine the frustration of a genuinely handicapped person making that trek!

The disappointments didn't end there. The shower was a pitiful trickle, the Wi-Fi connection was spotty at best, and the room layout was nonsensical.

To add insult to injury, when we requested some complimentary waters due to our parched state, the response was astonishing: "If you could come down to the lobby to get them, it would really help us out. We're quite busy right now." Unbelievable.

In a last-ditch effort to salvage some comfort, I asked for a late checkout, given my Marriott status allows for at least a 2:00 p.m. departure. Unsurprisingly, they could only manage a 12:00 p.m. checkout.

In conclusion, if you're a family or a group of more than two, steer clear of this place. The service is abysmal, the amenities are lacking, and there are far superior options just a few blocks away.

If you're here to party and don't mind subpar service, perhaps it's suitable. But for families seeking a relaxing stay? Avoid this place like the plague. It's appalling that Marriott would affiliate with such a disorganized and dysfunctional hotel.

I don't often write reviews but feel its important to reflect on my recent stay. The rooms in the hotel are absolutely tiny, barely enough room to walk around the bed, and are very basic, no wardrobe facilities, no storage, only power outlets to one side of the bed and very basic, very small bathrooms. The price I paid to stay here was ridiculously high and nowhere near worth the money. Done be fooled by the images of the reception and the pool area, this is definitely not worth staying at.

Very disappointing that we could not enjoy the pool, when we came specifically to relax for a day. There was a pool party and no chairs available. We were told we could go to another hotel pool. I would have appreciated to be informed while making my reservation as I would have a picked another hotel.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the GoodTime Hotel in Miami for five delightful nights. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a truly unforgettable experience.

Initially, we were assigned a cozy but somewhat snug room, which presented a bit of a challenge with our energetic six-year-old in tow. However, upon expressing our desire for a bit more space, the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, despite the bustling atmosphere of spring break. We were promptly relocated to a spacious room featuring a luxurious king bed, providing us with the perfect retreat to unwind after a day of exploration.

One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with any request made us feel right at home. Additionally, the hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from Miami Beach, allowed us to easily access the vibrant energy of the area while still enjoying a tranquil oasis within the hotel's walls.

When it came to dining options, we were spoiled for choice, but one standout experience was our meal at the Strawberry Moon restaurant. As a vegan, I greatly appreciated the diverse selection of plant-based options, including the delectable shawarma—a true culinary delight that satisfied both my palate and my dietary preferences.

Furthermore, the thoughtful gesture of receiving vouchers for a couple of drinks from the hotel staff added an extra touch of hospitality to our stay, ensuring that we felt pampered and well taken care of throughout our time at the Good Time Hotel.

Although this review may come a bit later than intended, the memories of our stay are as vivid and positive as ever. I wholeheartedly recommend the GoodTime Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay in Miami. Without a doubt, I will be eagerly referring my friends and family to this hidden gem, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return for another unforgettable experience in the near future. Thank you, GoodTime Hotel, for exceeding our expectations and providing us with cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing experience at the goodtime hotel.
I stayed 1 night only for a work meeting in Miami Beach, everyone at the front desk is kind and very helpful, they offer complementary prosecco.

The rooms are nice, spotless and in a perfect condition.
Nice coffee in the morning near the pool.
They give you wristband to access to the strawberry moon pool party is your are a guest of the hotel. Luckily it was Martin Garrix for me.

Î’ll definitely return

Let me start by saying I’ve never left a negative review in my life but this place was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Arrived at 4:15 with a 4pm check in time. We had the Arigato suite booked. Was told the room was not ready and to have seat. Didn’t receive keys to room until 4:46pm. Upon entering the room we find no toilet paper, no water & no trash cans. The dining room table was filthy & the sofa in the living room was completely stained with brown marks. We never even sat on it. The whole suite just appeared as an after thought and for the nicest room in the hotel you’d really expect more.

Kitchy and decorated lobby. Best themed wallpaper to distract you from the details that you normally find in other hotels (dirty stained carpets). A tiny closet-size room (NY seems big now) you can barely move around. Colorful flashback to 50s/60s. The artificial scent they use to cover up other awful smells makes you want to break out in hives internally. Again, stains on hallway carpets. Stains on wall covering. There is a terrible smell in the room like sewage vapor. The front desk staff were very friendly. The housekeeping staff doesn't even respond when you say hello. The restaurant lighting was so dark you can't even see what you are eating and nor would i recommend dining there. Sketchy area. I don't think I would step foot in there again. Thanks but no thanks.

We had the most enjoyable few days at this hotel. From the friendly and professional arrival greeting of the valet, Bartolo, to departure the staff was accommodating and added to the experience. The room met all of our cleanliness standards and the common areas were beautifully decorated. The amenities that come with the resort fee are well worth it and we took advantage of all - beach lounge chairs, towels, pool party tickets (Strawberry Moon), coffee bar and indoor/outdoor gym. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for location, experience, and staff kindness! We would love to come back to the goodtime :)

Hotel is aesthetically very cute and trendy, but other than that, it has nothing else positive to offer. The rooms are tiny. No closets. Extremely over priced. You get nickle and dimed at every corner (I.e. a can of sprite is $7)
They advertise a nice pool, charge a $40 resort fee, but there are only 6 lounge chairs available without additional cost. Mostly there are sun beds and cabanas that cost an additional $500-$3,000. This is absolutely absurd since hotel guests should be entitled to a comfortable spot by the pool (weekend or not)
There’s also nowhere to get a water, soda or snack after certain time in evening.
Overall, this hotel is purely gimmick. Would not stay here again.

Absolutely horrible customer service!! Pio, what he said his name was, was unbelievably rude!! I will never come back to this hotel or ever recommend it to anyone. When asked to speak to a manager, he said they were all in a meeting. So I left to go get something to eat. I came back an hour later and he consistently told me there was not a single manager available during normal business hours. This went on for 3 hours before I just decided to go to another hotel.

I'm very disappointed. Specifically booked this room because it accepts kids and has a pool. Unfortunately, the hotel told me my kid is not allowed in the pool due to daily pool parties. Mind you, the parties were over by 5pm. We never got to use the pool. I felt so bad for my kid. Miami decided to shut down the parking garages, so I was forced to use valet ($50 per night). I requested my car and had to literally walk to my car because they said it was blocked in and they couldnt move it. The rooms were very small and have no closets fyi... cute, just small.
