The front desk staff, valet parking staff, and coffee shop staff were all very good. The security team and the verbal policies, however, made this trip miserable. Despite needing to walk through the pool area to get out to the beach, they refused to allow you to carry a bottle of water with you. Additionally, despite specifically asking the staff at the towel station at the pool if we could carry the towels up to our room and back down again and being told that this was allowed, we were aggressively confronted by the security person and told we could not. When we expressed confusion and explained what the other property staff had told us, he got very upset and threatened to throw us out! Over a towel! The only reason we even wanted to bring the towels with us was because the day before they ran out and it was over 2 hours of waiting for a towel. We were not the only ones surprised by these policies. Several other families were expressing their discontent over the these issues and the rudeness of their security team. Many expressed they would not stay there again. We will not either. Too many choices for places with just as good a location and view. These are 2 and 3 bedroom units with full kitchens. So it is reasonable to assume that people will have their own food.

I don't like posting or sharing information, but this time I do need to say something. The whole unit is old and out dated. Electric circuits are fried and don't fit your standard plugs. Showers old, tiles are nasty, moldy. I used their old vacuum (90's) that barely picked up sand to clean, but had to use it to cleanup. Had tiny little bugs on the counter that were hungry for our food. The couches were loose about to fall apart. Could have got better ones at the salvation army, at least sturdier. Security guard stopped my 10 year old kid from going to our room because the left his shoes at the pool, and wanted to him to go back. Same guy stopped me for having fruit and water and insisted I find another way (outside) to walk instead of through the hotel... really!!?? Ok. Elevator sucks... yes, believe the other reviews that say the same about it. Took forever, cross your fingers it's just a few minutes. Other than that, it's a really beautiful location, kids enjoyed the pool, and running the board walk was really nice.

Mostly bad experience. The level of service was terrible. They had the hardest time providing towels for the pool/beach which as a beach resort is ridiculous. The building is old and outdated.

My family and I stayed in room 1616 , and I have to say, the review below by Jodi is preposterous. This unit is beautiful and comfortable and clean. Is it absolutely perfect? Maybe not. But no hotel or Airbnb is. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable there is a beautiful full kitchen nice large dining area and a porch with gorgeous views of the ocean, the creek, and also Biscayne bay. Seriously, I think it is perspective,is the glass half empty or half full..I would see definitely stay here again!

This place overall is terrible if you expect any kind of service. They seem to have a hard time providing basic things like towels for the pool and beach. I think it’s a horrible place and would never return
