Strong 4+ Hotel. Great pool.

数年前宿泊。リンカーンロードに近く、部屋は広くて清潔。スタッフも感じよかった。

This place is top notch! My best friend and her husband were flying in from NY for her birthday and last minute I decided to send them a welcome bottle of wine. I called the hotel and the front desk immediately connected me to the restaurant manager, Zouher Najid. Within minutes I had the wine menu and restaurant menu emailed to me and he took my order over the phone. Everything was delivered to their room instantly. Zouher was beyond friendly and very professional. Amazing customer service and attention to detail that is very rare in the Miami hospitality industry. Highly recommend!

We always stay here when we come to South Beach. Beautiful pool, beautiful beach, great service, super clean, comfortable beds. Love it!

Absolutely loved our time at The National Hotel. The other guests were fun to be around, the employees were extremely friendly and willing to offer recommendations for non-touristy attractions, the hotel piano bar on Saturday was super fun. The service in general was unmatched. Special shout out to Erik, Katherine, Sol, Johanna - we can't wait to come back!

Wish we would have been informed when making reservations that there was going to be a huge pool party loud music celebration going on for 2 days (was going to be three but first night cancelled due to weather) the music shook the whole hotel and was so loud and went on into the night. The back beach access was blocked and had to walk all the way around and down the block to get to the beach due to the pool party. Service seemed to be lacking because everyone who worked there was focused on the pool party. Some of the staff were very helpful (especially the gentleman working the stand out at the beach that you got towels from) but some of the others were not very friendly. Hotel itself was cool but overall did not seem worth it for the price we paid.

Best parts of staying at The National:
• historic art deco building
• Room was very nice & clean, enjoyed the Nespresso coffee
• balcony with pool & ocean view
• excellent location on beach on Collins Ave
• beautiful & lush pool area
• pretty calm & quiet by the pool
• food was good

Average parts of staying at The National:
• Bed comfort was average, nothing special. For the price you would think the bed would be more comfortable.
• Good service

Worst parts of staying at The National:
• Rampant cigar & cigarette smoking by the pool
• run down pool area - look at my
picture, there's an entire section blocked off by caution tape that includes four broken swings- this is not a luxury property but you pay luxury prices
• not enough lounge chairs by the pool- they put you on a waiting list & it's takes a long time to get a lounge chair
• lots of wasted space around the pool- see my picture. They could have at least 10 additional lounge chairs to alleviate the high demand for lounge chairs
• obnoxiously loud music at pool

Considering there are so many options in Miami Beach, I would not stay here again.

Such a great experience! Everyone-from the minute we checked in- AMAZING! Erik at the pool bar- made the relaxing experience that much more enjoyable. He knows how to take care of his guests. Munex (sorry if spelled wrong)- she was wonderful checking in on us at the pool. Security as great, beach accommodations were wonderful! We had a pool side room with belcony- huge room very tranquil atmosphere. So close to restaurants, shopping, beach walking path, everything very accessible! We will definitely come back.

We attended a pool party at the venue, and the hotel staff treated us like we were second-class citizens. We weren't allowed to go to certain parts of the venue, weren't even allowed to return through the main entrance, and we couldn't bring bags in, or anything.

I can't speak to the quality of staying here as a guest, but if this is how they treat people attending events at their hotel, I can't imagine the hotel service is much better. Also, if you're going to drive up to the venue, they're going to charge you for valet parking, with no alternative.

El personal del Valet no es profesional, no me ofrece confianza un personal que está más pendiente de jugar y bromear entre ellos que ofrecer un servicio con total vocación de servicio. Deberían hablar con el propietario de esa company.

Let’s start with the only good thing.
The pool was nice the lobby was nice.

1.The room bathroom was super small
The bathroom extractor wasn’t working
So embarrassed to use the toilet.
2. Time 8:15 am Got up early to the beach , didn’t see anyone , to ask for towel ,when I took two towers a gentlemen came to me rube saying (not to do next time) , like what? Take a towels? I ignored.
3. While relaxing in the pool with my pregnant wife, she asked the guy at the bar for 2 pinacoladas, I guess the gentleman to her they bring it to her.
15 mins passed I asked where are the drink , they guy said they open at 10 am it was 10:20 she order the drinks 15 mins ago, I wasn’t in the rush but the check out was at 11 am , so I told the guy to forget it.
I mean if you open at 10 am that means you ready to service at 10 am. Piña colada machines was already pre made by the way. I feel like they were pre selected on who to service. Less than 10 ppl at the pool.
3. The night before, after dinner my wife and was just sitting at the lobby ,passed a security guard, we were sitting taking pictures and another security guard just stand there and looked us like , what are you doing here, as we getting up to go up to the room the security guard said that we can’t be there. There was not sign that say we can or can’t set in the area.

It cost almost $400 a night to stay here
We only stayed one night but it was enough.almost $400 for this kinda situations, you want to be at your on time vacation, getting towers and sitting in the lobby was an issue,

Nice hotel, but they charged me twice the resort fee and won’t refund me. Very difficult to deal with… I wouldn’t stay here

Attention très bruyant car travaux juste à côté, dans les chambres on entend tout de ce que fait les voisins (même les ronflements) la chambre et la salle de bain sont vieilles et mal entretenue, je trouve que pour le prix la qualité n’est pas du tout là! Les meubles sont vieux ils ont des chocs de partout. Il manque d’entretien cet hôtel ! Sur le chemin pour accéder à la plage il y a des excréments avec des serviettes en tissu depuis deux jours ! Les employés passent à coté 50 fois par jour mais personne enlève ! Sans compter qu ils osent vous demander 25$ pour avoir un parasol sur la plage ! Et sans le parasol vous cramez ????

I absolutely love it here. Just finished my second stay and I can’t say enough good things about it.

The pool is absolutely beautiful. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The view of the ocean is amazing if you get an ocean front view.

Want to put a higher rating but management’s inability to comp for slooooow services and no services - like no beach nor pool towels and no housekeeping make it impossible to feel good about the value you get for the cost. Left on a bad note bc at breakfast it took 15 minutes to get coffee and 20 minutes to get a mimosa and apple juice. With a “sorry - we’re really busy” just not cutting it

Cannot recommend the service enough. Please see Max for lunch and if your lucky enough for dinner, Johanna for one of the best drinks you can have and Itza for fro t of house. First time stay in area and we will pick this spot next time because of them.

This was our second time visiting in the past two months. It's very expensive but really worth it. What you get for the money was so worth it. It's close to restaurants and shops. The pool and beach access are beautiful. The hotels decorations are cool. Hotel staff are very helpful. We will be back.
