DAYS INN

The hotel is overrun with roaches. It is unbelievable that they are allowed to accommodate guest in such conditions. Despite the attractive online photos, the reality is far from pleasant. Do not waste your vacation at this establishment. Roaches can be found everywhere, along with broken lamps, rusty exteriors, pealing paint, dirty rooms, mold, and even a hanging ceiling. The employees here seem suspicious. It was a complete letdown. Shortly after checking in, my family decided to leave. We relocated to The Wharf Condos further down the beach, where we received proper accommodation. I have personally addressed this matter with the management, only to discover that they consider these conditions to be acceptable. We have no intention of ever returning.

The rooms are a little dated and the family suite is a strange layout, but the beds were comfy and it was right on the water. The staff is awesome. The breakfast is strange being that they serve you in a window and I felt like I was in a high school cafeteria because the breakfast ladies were a little cranky. The area is good, there really isn't a lot around us though. Hooters, a buffet, and a resturant a few shops. Most of the stuff is further down the road. Not the hotels fault just wanted to let people know that isn't a typical beach area that I am used to. The service was great up until the last night. We had asked for towels like we did everyday and the dude at the desk decided that he was told that housekeeping delivered them even though they did not. My daughter went down to get them and he called her a lier gave her 2 and told her that is all we get. My husband called to see why no towels and the guy told him the same thing and hung up the phone on him. My husband called back and every time he did the jerk would answer and hang up the phone. He went down there and the guy hid and sent a lady out to talk to my husband. Who then said that it was housekeepings issue. We spent over 1300 for the week to have a dispute over towels?? I emailed the manager and called to ask for a return call, but so far nothing. Spend a little more money and go somewhere else as even though the time was good, this one experience ruined it. Because of this on our last night, we missed our dinner reservations and it was something my senior twins were looking forward to. So yeah thanks for that!

Rooms are always clean with a great view no matter what floor or room you have. Prices can't be beat for the area. Breakfast is always good and the pool area has great entertainment and an amazing environment with the waterfall.

Enjoyed the space in the room and the kitchenette. Had just enough things to cook with and it was perfect! Well definitely come back if needing a quick get a way for a few days. Just hated it was sitting spring break. It was a little crowded. We are older and not into all the loudness, but overall I did enjoy it visit!

Location was perfect. Looked really nice from pictures. Room seemed clean, but got our socks Really dirty . Front desk told us pool and hot tub was open till 12 am. We was late swimming with a lot of people every night and then our last night there security kicked everyone out at 9:50 . People serving breakfast was rude and snappy. They skipped two of my kids and continued helping people behind us when my kids did get served they gave them two things and shut the box and said next.
