I did read the reviews. I'm only staying one night! If you're looking for the building in the picture, STOP that picture is outdated by 10 years! However, my room was clean [I did find other people hair], Bug Free ( I always re-clean my room /w bleach clean), and disinfectant spray.

Staff friendly, Internet is fantastic.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very big. The hotel was very quiet. The only issues was the heater didn't work, the TV HDMI wasn't working so I couldn't watch my fire stick & I saw 2 small roaches crawling around the mini fridge. Oh & NO BREAKFAST

Hotel was the nastiest run down property I have ever booked . It’s main type of business is most likely escorts paying by hour .

This is not where you take your family but if you just want hot showers, cold AC , and good wifi you have found the right place. The reason why you dont take family, is that theres no pool or fancy amenities. Also people who are noise sensitive will complain about noise from the traffic. The motel rooms are better and cleaner than other nearby hotels ive stayed in, the beds are more comfortable those of hotels one star higher. the plugs are in the right places and management seems to keep on top of problems.

NOT FAMILY SAFE!!! You are asked to take our your own trash at the end of your stay, you can't get new towels or linens unless it is a Friday or Sunday, the curtains in room do not close so ground level people can see in as they walk by. Very bad neighborhood......STAY AWAY!!!

The location was convenient, only 15 minutes from Universal, but I would never stay here again. I arrived with my 2 kids just after 10pm on a Friday night for a 1 night stay. The woman at check in was friendly, but the positive ended there. The property is very poorly maintained - everything in the room was rundown and felt very dirty. The floors were filthy - my daughter went barefoot for a few minutes and her feet were black with dirt. I forbid my kids to walk around without shoes on. The bathroom floor was actually sticky. The towels were stained, everything in the room (floors, walls, tub, toilet, sink, mattresses, headboard, etc) was just worn out. We discovered after 11pm that the toilet did not even flush properly. At check in she had mentioned we had the last room available - if I thought I could find a room elsewhere I would have left but it was a Friday night during Halloween Horror Nights. Since the kids were in bed, I chose not to report it immediately. My husband had to open the back of the tank so we could flush the toilet by manually pulling the lever. None of us slept well because we were grossed out by the room combined with a noisy a/c unit blowing only somewhat cool air. We were all up by 6am to get out of there as soon as possible, and I let the office know on the way out about the toilet. As others mentioned the website advertised free breakfast but it's not available at this property and we wouldn't have eaten from here even if was offered after seeing the condition of the room. I will go out of my way to ensure friends and family do NOT stay here, I do not recommend and will not go back.

So I know that this is a busy area granted. I do however have to say that this hotel is pretty decent!!! The service is amazing!!! The rooms are not bug infested or damaged beyond normal wear and tear!!! They also be sure to correct any issues immediately. Yesterday I went to the desk and said o feel like the ac isn’t pushing out the air fully. By this morning they came replaced the ac but also gave me a fan for the night for added air. The room wasn’t unbearable hot or uncomfortable just wasn’t not as cold as I wished or felt in other rooms no biggie!! The fact that they took the initiative to come and correct the issues with no hesitation is why I wrote this review!!! I would truly recommend this hotel!!! And it is very quiet and pretty drama free considering how busy the area can get!! Thank you staff for being sure that this place runs so great!!!

Llomar is the best! Clean perfect room

This hotel is very dirty and not maintained. When booking it indicated breakfast included. When I got to the hotel reception said they do not offer breakfast. Room was very dirty, towels were stained, head board for bed was completely worn out, floor was dirty, cockroaches found in the bathroom. This hotel needs to be reviewed by Wyndham hotels for cleanliness and sanitation as it is a disgrace for the Howard Johnson name brand. Will not stay here again or recommend it to my friends.

Very dated, was reffered as a hooked hotel by others when they found out where I was staying.

I'm honestly not picky about rooms. I appreciate the nice ones, but when I book a cheap room, I'm generally just looking for a clean bed and a shower. So my expectations are generally based on price. This room was pretty cheap, so my expectations were very low. I'll start with the positives: bed was clean, check in guy was friendly, good water pressure in shower. The negatives: really, really, really run down rooms. Holes in chairs, dirty towels, door not sealed (daylight coming in from bottom), desk and tables scratched up and in disrepair. Just really FEELS unclean and gross even though the room was actually mostly clean.

they only care about money DEFINITELY don't care for customers , why do you have housekeepers If the rooms are FILTHY STILL ? . . BIG COCKROACHES comes out of the drains in the tub and sink nasty nasty floor if YOU don't respect your place WHO WILL ? right ! & I will be reporting this to the state. thanks

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and it’s an overall great place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

No help from service desk. Had to find a cleaning person. Bathroom floor was filthy. Room on the side of us went to front desk because their sheets were dirty. Advertised free coffee and breakfast item. The small kitchen area was covered with dry wall pieces and other stuff which was blocking the counter. Very poor stay.
