PARADISE SUN * * * * *

First of all, we wanna thank the whole Paradise Sun staff for making our honeymoon to the Seychelles unforgettable! Our stay was so relaxing and we enjoyed every second of it!
We booked a honeymoon superior suite with breakfast and dinner for 11 nights. Our plan was to do all the trips to the nearby islands starting from Praslin, but also relax and enjoy! I would say, we did exactly this and we are very happy, that we chose Paradise Sun in our plans and not the more expensive hotels on the island.
The Paradise Sun hotel is located at the best part of the Cotr d‘Or beach I would say. The beach is accessible directly from the hotel in about 1-2minutes from each room. The beach is very clean and from time to time they also put the sea weed together. Some parts more to the end of rhe beach have much more seaweed, but it‘s the part which is already after the hotel. There are enough sunbeds on the beach, some of them with umbrellas, some under eath the natural shades of palm trees.
Our room had a direct access from the hotel garden. You have two doors, a glass door and some sunlight protecting shade doors. The room had AC and a ceiling fan. There is a separate bathroom and also a small room with a big wardrobe, a mirror and a freezer. You also have a TV above the entrance. All in all we didnt miss anything in our room. It can happen that geckos or spiders get into your room. The staff were always very friendly to help us remove the spiders (it happened 2 times, they are not dangerous, just look a bit big).
The food! Mmmmmm, this was one of the best parts. On the breakfast buffet you will find anything from eggs, hash browns, bacon, beans, sausages to fresh fruits, different breads, toast, granola and also you can order omelettes directly and select all the ingrdients. There‘s always enough coffea and tea served.
For dinner, every evening there is a different theme for the buffet. Dinner is served directly at the St. Pierre Restaurant, which is directly at the beach and built in a very authentic Creole way of architecture! The themes were Italian, Asian, Sea Food, Roast, International, Barbecue and of course the Creole evening! You have 4 areas of the buffet: Salads, main courses, a grill section and a huge variety of deserts! I am still thinking about how the staff managed to cook every day such an amount of very delicious food! It was always a 10/10, and if you dont like a theme, you will always get some bread and basic pasta with either tomato or Alfredo sauce!
We had a few times lunch at St.Pierre restaurant, which was also very good and not very expensive in comparison to other hotel restaurants we experienced in Seychelles.
Finally we want to point out the activities they offer. John and Josh are the two happy faces you will meet all around the hotel garden, always happy to help out and organise things. Every day they will organise different activities: Nature walks, Beach Volleyball, showing how to open a coconut, crafting some haning Makrame decoration… Also they are the ones handing out all the water sports equipment for snorkeling, kayak, stand up paddle etxc. FOR FREE! They can also organise for you trips to surrounding islands like Curieuse, Cousin, La Digue etc. We did one trip to Curieuse organised by John and it was the best decision we made! A young guy came 20min after they called him with a small boat, bringing us to a small beach on Curieuse, let us hike over a trail and later on bring us to a very nice snorkeling spot at La Reserve! Thanks again Alwi!
For other activities and trips: with a car or with one of the travel agencies, you reach Valee de Mai in 15min, Anse Lazio also in about 15min, Curieuse by boat is about 5-10min, St Pierre island also ablut 5min. To the ferry port/Jetty you get in about 10min.
Thanks again Paradise Sun and we really hope to ger back here again some day
