If I could give the Melia Serengeti 10 stars, I would. My husband and I stayed here as part of our safari honeymoon and it was incredible. What a magnificent place, with truly wonderful people. Nathaniel, Moses, James and Teddy were all incredible and made us feel so welcomed. The quality of service here, from the views, the rooms, and the food was all exquisite. Definitely book to stay here in the Serengeti! 5 star service all around.

My wife and I did a 5 day safari as part of our honeymoon, and while most places we stayed were nice the Meliá stands out as far and away the nicest.

The team here knew it was our honeymoon and set out a special candle lit dinner for us upon our arrival. The food was 5 stars, comparable to a Michelin guide tasting menu at home in california.

The best part were the people - Moses, James, Nathanial and Teddy, were incredible. They took care of everything, and anytime we needed something they just magically showed up with it two seconds later. Absolutely worth it!

No tengo palabras para describir este hotel, para mí fue un paraiso en la tierra. El personal, empezando por dirección y subdirección, la decoración exquisita, el enclave, no he estado en ningún hotel de esta categoría que se le pueda comparar, gracias a todos por hacernos pasar unos días maravillosos

We just had the best experience of an accommodation here in the lodge. Very friendly staff, in an awsomely decorated lodge, which reflects the culture of africa perfectly with a balanced mix with modernity. The buildings are so nice that you never miss anything of your modern luxury life, but still give you the expected feeling that you are in the wilderness of Africa.
The high prices of accomodation and the catering are totally worth it.
I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in all the organisation from engeneering, to the service staff. We had a great time here. Love you all

This is an amazingly gorgeous hotel, the rooms are stunning , reception, pool and bar area as well! The views of the Serengeti are unbeatable . We saw Buffalo and monkeys pass right by. They feed you and feed you every single meal

Gran hotel con una situación, instalaciones y servicio inmejorables. Muchas gracias a Fernando y Rocio por sus atenciones. En mi opinión y tras mi experiencia es totalmente recomendable el itinerario Melia Arusha 1 noche, Melia Ngorongoro 2 noches, Melia Serengueti 2 noches y volar desde la pista de aterrizaje de Seronera a Zanzíbar para pasar unos días de descanso en la playa es lo ideal, te evitas además de perder un día, el viaje de vuelta de Serengueti a Ngorongoro/ Karatu, y además todo ello se puede organizar a través de Meliá, q, desafortunadamente y por falta de información, no fue mi caso.

let's start from the most important thing in a hotel where its far away from everything! even humans. the service of the hotel was the best you can deserved from the checking people, room service, restaurants, bar tender, etc. we could not get better service in any other hotel and we could only thanks their team of excellent people devoted to customers like us. thanks to Rocio, Chacha, steve our guide, Fernando, Reuben, etc, etc. everybody was very aware of our presence and made us felt at home.
for the location, this is a beautiful place located on a hill where you can see all over Serengeti, location was the best you can find there.
we were celebrating our anniversary and every night was special, different location, different conversations with their team, specially the Masai guards, very special people.
for all Tanzanians, i think you are the most happy people in the world!

We reserved a stay at the Melia Serengeti lodge for three nights. Our initial impression was fantastic – the front office staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always striving to surpass expectations. Special thanks to CHACHA for his outstanding service at the restaurant. The front office manager, David Larius, was exceptional in ensuring our resort experience was magical. The entire staff provided top-notch service, with standout mentions to Majid and Jesica at the restaurants, and Doreen at reception, who truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable property for an adventure-filled and soul-refreshing experience.

Una experiencia única en un hotel fantástico, en todo momento nos sentimos mejor que en casa, un trato familiar y atento, dar las gracias al director Fernando que me asistió personalmente cuando tuve un pequeño problema de salud, a Roció que es encantadora , a los camareros/as siempre con una sonrisa y anticipándose a todo lo que podíamos necesitar, a Lewi el chofer que nos llevó de safari, consiguió que viésemos todos los animales.
Un hotel de ensueño mimetizado con la naturaleza , bonito, con unas vistas espectaculares y detalles que lo hacían muy especial.
La cocina de diez, calidad y cantidad , todo increíble.
Me voy con ganas de volver y consiguiendo uno de mis mejores recuerdos, de esos que son para siempre.

Experiencia única en el paraiso.
Me gustaría empezar hablando del fantástico equipo. Desde el recibimiento de Rocio, que nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento; pasando por camareros como Joshua o el servicio de housekeeping que cuidan al milímetro cada detalle; hasta Lawi, nuestro driver que hizo que el game drive fuese único y pudiésemos ver prácticamente todos los animales.
El hotel no se puede expresar con palabras lo maravilloso que es. Las vistas te dejan sin palabras.
Tuvimos la suerte de ver animales desde la piscina y habitación del hotel, y te pasas la noche escuchándolos. Una auténtica pasada.
Cabe destacar la excelente cocina, cada comida mejor que la anterior. Y se notaba que todo era elaborado por ellos.
Mención especial para Fernando, el director del hotel, que estuvo pendiente de cada detalle y se acercó a saludarnos y preocuparse por nuestra experiencia en diversas ocasiones, no solo con nosotros por ser españoles, sino con cada cliente.
Gracias a todo el equipo por esta experiencia.
Recomendaremos y volveremos en poder.
