A great family stay in Jambiani. Comfortable and very clean rooms with dedicated housekeeping staff who kept our rooms sparkling and bug free! We loved the pools and beach access, as well as the many places to relax and enjoy the beach. The spa and staff are very kind and it was a great experience and value. We liked that there were two options for restaurants, especially the great Vietnamese restaurant. The location is a bit remote if you are interested in exploring more of the island or even some of the nearby islands, so it’s ideal if you’re looking to just stay on property (1.5hrs driving from the airport).

Second time staying here. Such an amazing place. Staff are very attentive. Tried yoga overlooking the beach. Can’t wait to go again.

Sharazad is a beautiful quiet and spacious resort where you have lots of privacy on the beach and near the pools. The food is amazing and the restaurants nearby on the beach are also fun to go and check out. You should know that there is no AC in the rooms. There is a nice sea breeze that compensates. But if you don’t like sleeping in a warm environment this might be tricky.

My first plan was to stay here for 2 weeks and it went out into a month! It is worth noting and this is my second time here. I received a warm welcome on arrival, checked in and shown the premises before being taken into my room. They have quite a large space space consisting of various swimming pools, spa, a Vietnamese restaurant and the main restaurant. And scattered throughout the space are chairs and lounges for you to spend your day.

I had booked the HB option which meant I got breakfast and dinner included in my accommodation. Their serving sizes were very generous and satisfying while there were some seafood options and lots available under the HB option. There was still a great amount of diversity in the dishes daily so I got something different most of the time. I love the location because it’s a bit removed from the tourist/loud areas which is a personal preference but you can always get a taxi or a bike to go to a more central spot about 10 minutes away.

It was an ideal getaway for me to spent alone time and definitely felt like home after a month!

Too legit to quit. Good food, good band. A handsome time with some of those I care about.

Wir waren im Januar/Februar 24 hier und sind begeistert: Wir hatten den Bungalow_Room Nr 1, ein sehr intimes und privates Refugium mit kleiner Terasse und Blick durch Hibiskus-Büsche entlang von Palmen direkt auf den Strand. Unsere Unterkunft war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Tolle Ausstattung, Bademäntel, Strohhüte, Strandtaschen, kostenlose Möglichkeit jederzeit Trinkwasser aufzufüllen, Kaffeebereiter im Zimmer, mehrere super saubere Pools, die ständig gereinigt wurden, das alles sind tolle Standards, die kosten, und so viel Perfektion ist bei weitem nicht selbstverständlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die enorme absolute Sauberkeit in der gesamten Anlage, einfach super top. Das ist besser als vielerlei "gehobener" europäischer Standard. Hier kann man bedenkenlos unterwegs sein. Speisen und Getränke sind hervorragend, da meint man die italienischen Wurzeln der Inhaberin zu spüren. Das Team ist enorm freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Immer ein Lächeln. Übrigens auch ein sehr sauberer Strand, jeden Tag vom Hotel noch einmal zusätzlich nachgesehen. Keine aufdringlichen Strandgäste oder Verkäufer, auch hier ist das Hotel und seine Security stets unauffällig und fürsorglich präsent. Übrigens die Einheimischen auch außerhalb des Hotel-Strands: Sehr nett und gar nicht aufdringlich, auf ein höfliches Nein ziehen sie sich sofort ebenso höflich zurück. Hier kann man wirklich völlig unbesorgt Urlaub machen, in jeder Hinsicht. Ein ganz besonderes Lob an die Inhaberin Francesca, die immer und überall zugegen und ansprechbar war und immer wieder aktiv nachfragte, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit ist. Man merkt ebenso ihre ständige Präsenz und professionelle Aufmerksamkeit bei ihrem Team. Francesca ist eine großartige Gastgeberin ! Sie ist stets mit Rat zur Stelle. Wir waren so begeistert, daß wir die letzte Nacht unseres Aufenthalts in Francesca`s Stadthotel Sharazad Wonders wechselten, um noch einmal diese prickelnde Stadt und das schöne Sharazad Wonders-Hotel dort zu erleben. Übrigens nochmals herzlichen Dank für die sehr gute Organisation dieser unerwarteten Änderung und den problemlosen Wechsel, das ist nicht selbstverständlich, wir wissen das zu schätzen. Auch hier von Francesca eine super Beratung zu einer unvergesslichen Dinner-Location in Stone Town. Das Stadthotel hat dieselben tollen Standards. Ein großes Lob auch an den Organisator Tanzania Specialist für die aktive stets präsente Aufmerksamkeit. Hier geht man nie verloren. Es gibt nun wirklich nichts zu kritisieren, ich frage mich gerade, ob ich nicht doch etwas fände, aber es ist super. Ich bin eher ein kritischer Gast und kenne Afrika von Namibia und Südafrika bereits, aber auch von Simbabwe und Botswana. Um so mehr bewundere ich, was Francesca und ihr Mann hier in dem fantastischen Tanzania/Sansibar auf die Beine gestellt haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder, entweder über Direktbuchung oder wieder mit Safari über Tanzania Specialist, übrigens ein Gemeinschaftsunternehmen aus Holland und Tanzania, man merkt gleich die professionelle Verankerung mit eigenen Büros im Gastland. Man kann es gar nicht genug loben !

Zanzibar isola paradisiaca, per rendere la vacanza ancora più meravigliosa e da sogno vi consiglio di scegliere Sharazad. La boutique hotel è situata direttamente sulla bellissima bianca spiaggia di Jambiani dove vi assicuro che vi dimenticherete anche di mettere le ciabatte perché vivrete a piedi nudi direttamente a contatto con la natura. L’hotel è organizzato nei minimi particolari, mette a disposizione dei suoi ospiti tre piscine , una sala yoga che affaccia sull’oceano , una zona SPA, un Kite Center, noleggio bici, due ristoranti e il bar con servizio anche in spiaggia, insomma vi sentirete davvero coccolati. Il personale molto attento sia alla pulizia delle camere che alla pulizia dei luoghi comuni, la mattina c’è il passaggio pulizia e la sera il passaggio per spruzzare l’anti zanzare. La colazione è abbondante e molto varia, accontenta tutti i gusti dalla frutta al salato passando per il dolce e così anche il servizio ristorante, io personalmente l’ho trovato perfetto perché ti scordi le lunghe code ai buffet ma c’è il servizio al tavolo molto curato e disponibile ad ascoltare le esigenze di ogni ospite.
Ci siamo appoggiati a loro anche per le escursioni e ci siamo trovati benissimo, tutto ben organizzato con il servizio taxi dall’hotel al Lugo di destinazione.
Che dire…lo consiglio vivamente, io ci tornerei domani!!!

Hôtel de fin de séjour après une longue semaine de safari. Nous avions besoin de calme et de repos. Nous avons eu tout ce que nous cherchions. L'emplacement est idyllique et le cadre magique. Dîner à quelques pas de la mer, les pieds dans le sable avec le reflet de lune sur l'océan : un bonheur !
Tout le monde a été serviable, gentil et aussi patient avec notre maîtrise plutôt moyenne de l'anglais.
Et que dire des attentions liées à notre voyage de noces : excursion snorkeling, réduction sur un massage et le repas en tête à tête dans un décor de rêve !
Pour chipoter un peu, un rideau ou un paravent entre la chambre et la salle de bain pourrait être un plus non négligeable.
Merci à tous d'avoir fait de notre voyage de noce un rêve éveillé !

Le Shahrazad Hotel à Jambiani est un petit coin de paradis. Situé directement au bord de l'eau, cet hôtel offre une vue époustouflante sur une plage de sable fin, complétée par une magnifique piscine à débordement. Les chambres, à la fois spacieuses et épurées offrent tout le confort et le calme nécessaire pour un séjour de détente. Ce qui distingue vraiment cet hôtel, c'est la qualité exceptionnelle de son personnel. Toujours souriants et prêts à aider, ils ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le Shahrazad est l'endroit idéal pour ceux qui cherchent à s'évader dans un cadre serein et luxueux.

Room without A/C so all our stuff were wet all the time and we had the view on the garden were there is no sun so no possibility to dry our clothes.
The breakfast were ok but when we ate dinner there, the lobster was burnt on the top and not cooked enough on the bottom.
Finally, we left the hotel 4 nights before because our phone was stolen at the breakfast (we forgot it on the table 15min) and we went back it was not there anymore. On the video (very bad quality) no one except the staff took stuff on the table. Not a safety place. We do not recommend it. And the management did not manage this theft correctly. Very bad experience there...

Make sure to explore this incredible hotel if you're visiting Zanzibar Stone Town. My husband and I had a delightful one-night stay, experiencing the hotel's beauty and cozy atmosphere. The room was charming, boasting a fantastic ambiance. The receptionist was exceptionally hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The thoughtful touches like the lovely shower amenities, hand soap, and provided items such as hats, yoga mats, and umbrellas were much appreciated. Moreover, the surprise anniversary decor was a heartwarming gesture. In summary, this hotel is truly amazing.

Prenotato dal tour operator, perché incuriositi da foto e recensioni. Vi diró di più, tutto molto meglio di come mi aspettavo. Un'oasi di pace e relax nella zona est di Zanzibar, dove si puó apprezzare bene il fenomeno delle maree. Piscine ben posizionate, personale cortese ed efficiente, camera top. Il punto veramente forte é il ristorante. Qualità del cibo davvero eccelente, quasi stellato...
Noi ci abbiamo festeggiato anche capodanno 2023-24...da sogno.
Ricordate che da giugno 2023 appena arrivati in tutti gli hotel di Zanzibar c é la tassa di soggiorno da pagare in loco.

Hier stimmte einfach alles. Die Lage, die Zimmer, der Service und das Essen waren wunderbar. Man befindet sich mitten in einem tropischen Garten, der häufig von einer Affenfamilie besucht wird. Die Kleinen sind sehr neugierig und zutraulich. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist wunderschön. Man findet immer freie Liegen, Betten oder Hängematten. Überall große bunte Kissen. Einladend und gemütlich und so richtig zum chillen geeignet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer, die gesamte Anlage und der Strand sehr gepflegt. Das Essen war super lecker. Großer Vorteil war auch, dass man den ganzen Tag ausreichend mit Wasser versorgt war. An mehreren Stationen kann man sich die Flasche auffüllen. Ich empfehle, eine von zu Hause mitzunehmen. Zu Fuß, dem Fahrrad oder Tuk-Tuk ist man schnell in Paje zum bummeln und shoppen. Schuhe braucht man nur, wenn man in die Städte geht, im Hotel nicht. Auch in den angrenzenden Restaurants und Bars findet das Leben im Sand statt.
Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit sofort wieder dort hin!!!

Un petit paradis sur terre. Adorable hôtel situé sur une longue plage de sable blanc et avec beaucoup d'espace. La vue est magnifique. La restauration est de grande qualité, à la carte, avec une vue superbe, un petit déjeuner wouah avec des fruits frais et plein de bonnes choses les chambre spacieuses et propres. Et un personnel tellement gentil, souriant et aux petits soins pour nous. On ne veut plus les quitter ! Asante Sana. Je reviendrai ... hakuna Matata

Sharazad boutique hotel è un posto che ti fa sentire a casa.
Le serate sono sempre piacevoli, cullate dal vento e dal rumore delle onde che si infrangono sulla barriera corallina.
Si respira un'aria aria di magia e leggerezza, ti senti davvero in vacanza!
La cucina è ottima e lo staff sempre sorridente.
Tornare a Sharazad è sempre bello!

I stayed at Sharazad as a solo traveler and I absolutely loved it! The staff were so kind and helpful the service was 10/10. The beachfront suite was very aesthetic and super clean! The food was amazing you have multiple options for lunch and dinner and 3 pools + an amazing beach to choose from to relax. Start booking your stay before they are fully booked.
