Definitely a 4 star hotel. Impeccable rooms, wonderful restaurant and bar for breakfast, cocktail, light meal. Bed was comfortable, air conditioned, tea kettle in each room. Hotel is in the gothic quarter close to Picasso museum, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera as well as the cathedral. Definitely the best place to stay for comfort and location.

Location is great, if a little noisy. Service at the front desk and Restaurant was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful.
The room was spacious, but ordinary. Pillows were very uncomfortable and there were no drawers for clothes so we had to live out of our suitcases.
Coffee provided was instant only and the room attendant didn't replace tea bags or stir sticks for our entire stay of three days which we only discovered late in the evenings.

Restaurante dentro del hotel. Platos sencillos pero muy buenos. La atención del servicio muy buena. Hubo un error en la cocina con el segundo plato y enseguida se disculparon. Nos invitaron a chupito. Volveremos.

A mixed review about this hotel. We travelled end of March 2024.
Pros:
1. PRIME location, really central and easy to get to everything. (The Chocolat Box right outside is awesome)
2. Staff are very very friendly and helpful.
3. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean.

Cons:
1. Due to the centrality of the hotel, it is EXTREMELY noisy outside into late hours of the night/early morning. There were garbage trucks collecting recycling at 11:30pm. Didn’t get a thorough night’s sleep once in my 2 week stay.
2. The aircons didn’t work - they only switch the aircons on in May for the summer so we had to have our balcony door open all the time for fresh air.
3. In one of our rooms the balcony door couldn’t open because it was broken
4. The wifi was SO weak.

too expensive for the services they provide. For 235€ per night you get a very large and comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, a very good breakfast but also a small room, no slippers, no smart TV and a disappointing view of the backyard of the hotel. However the most important, dangerous and inexcusable issue was the fact that the switch of the light on the bedside table was damaged, leaving the the connection wires bare and unprotected! We didn't get electrocuted by pure luck because i wanted to charge my watch and so i noticed it before i try to turn off the light.
Not happy at all with our stay here.

Bei einem 4Sterne Hotel erwarte ich ein gepflegtes Äußeres und einen freundlichen Umgang mit Gästen. Was aber der Mann mit Pferdeschwanz an der Rezeption nicht begriffen hatt ! Nein Sie arbeiten nicht in einem billig Hostel oder Campingplatz!! (Obwohl so manches auf einem guten Campingplatz besser ist )

Unserer Aufenthalt im hotel war super. Zimmer gross und sauber. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut und vieles schmeckte frisch zubereitet. Vielen Dank.

Amazing location, a real ++
Rooms basic but spacious
Big minus are the beds (matrass) and I wouldn't take our room (nr 511) in sunny high season when the pool is active because you can hear the door going open and close which can be loud and annoying, there's also the staircase in front... :)
Breakfast is good too, 21 euro pp.
Overall I would come back for location and staff but find it overrated for the sleep quality I had ????????

Sehr schönes ruhiges Hotel. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top!
Allerdings Anfahrt mit dem Auto zum Parkplatz/Garage schwierig.

Bij het inchecken verliep alles erg soepeltjes, al snel konden we naar onze kamer. De kamer is niet te groot maar ook zeker niet te klein. De kamer is erg schoon, hygiënisch en prima. Het is wel gehorig.

Personeel vd balie, bar en restaurant zijn allemaal vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze willen je altijd helpen!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was super convenient for walking around the old town or down to the harbor. It was also close to the Metro for exploring more distant sights. Best of all, though, was the staff. Each person was so incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome and special. I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Barcelona and will seek out other properties in the same hotel group since they obviously expect the best from their team. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

This hotel is a great favorite of ours. We have visited several times, and we are returning guests. The reason for this is that we always feel at home there, and we have always left satisfied and happy, eagerly anticipating our return. The hotel's location is perfect for city visits: if we arrive by bus from the airport, we can reach the hotel on foot within a few minutes, and if by taxi, the taxi stops right outside the door. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Our personal favorite is the wine & cheese event every afternoon, during which guests can taste wine and cheeses for free. So, we wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel to everyone.

Hôtel idéalement situé. Très central, proche de tout. Chambres impeccables, très confortables, propres. Petit déjeuner copieux. Service très sympa et pro. Ambiance chaleureuse et cosy. Une bonne adresse à retenir. Début février : 600 euros à 2 pour 3 nuits avec petits déjeuners. Vu le niveau de l'hôtel, le prix est acceptable.

Hotel con una localización perfecta al lado de la Catedral de Barcelona y a pocos minutos a pie de Plaza Catalunya y de la playa. Habitaciones impecablemente limpias y personal muy atento.
Un lugar perfecto para tu estancia si vas por Barcelona.

Très bon hotel.

J'y retourne à chaque séjour à Barcelone. La piscine sur le toit est un must et très appréciable après une journée de visite. Idéalement situé au cœur du quartier gothique. Toutes les visites peuvent se faire à pied.
