RESIDENZA MORDINI - BOUTIQUE HOTEL

I must say they try their best but they have an absolute obsession with what you will have for breakfast. We got asked 3 times upon check in and a couple of times after. Really shouldn’t be that hard to offer a simple menu on the morning itself without making such a fuss out of it.
Most people don’t expect anything complicated but they manage to overcomplicate what should be extremely simple.

Occorre distinguere tra le stanze dell'albergo, ben arredate e accoglienti ma poche e disponibili solo durante la stagione turistica, e quelle del residence, dove vi sono degli appartamenti nei quali in inverno viene chiusa la cucina e affittate le singole stanze, ciascuna con bagno. Queste stanze sono molto piccole e prive di arredamento, con solo il letto, i comodini e un armadio; non un posto dove appoggiare la valigia, non un tavolo. La connessione WiFi è molto scadente. Le stanze, i luoghi di passaggio, l'ingresso sono letteralmente disseminati di messaggi di avviso: non fare questo, è severamente vietato quest'altro, ricordati che qui si paga in anticipo, etc.. La colazione consiste in un caffellatte o cappuccino o caffè insieme con una (dicasi una) pasta o croissant che deve essere prenotata la sera prima e un cestinetto contenente fette biscottate e alcune monoporzioni di marmellata e nutella. Il tutto al modico prezzo di euro 80, in dicembre.

Ho visitato la struttura, molto bella, arredata con gusto ed in posizione centralissima. Nelle immediate vicinanze sono presenti tutti i servizi fondamentali. Consigliatissima

Residenza Mordini was perfect for our stay in La Maddalena. As we had a car it was ideal as there is plenty of secure parking available & the location of the hotel is just a few minutes walk into the old town. The hotel hosts were delightful & had suggestions of what to do while visiting as well as recommending several restaurants for our 2 night stay - both were great & walking distance from the hotel. For seafood, Perla Blu with a view over the harbour & for amazing pizza, I Capatosta. We enjoyed the swimming pool one afternoon & the pastries & coffee for breakfast were great. Staying here will just add to your experience of what is on offer here in the Maddalena Archipelago.
