This is hotel is elegant and fabulous.
We have been going here for years. Years ago I wrote a review and pointed out that one of the people that take care of us is Jordan. He is absolutely amazing and when we visited in January; Jordan was still there and recognized that our room didn't accommodate bathroom floor heat ( which we love ) and he asked to have our room changed. We stayed in our favorite room. It was perfectly amazing. The rooms, the staff, the convenience. A very special hotel

Ik verbleef in dit hotel met grandeur al in 1992 studeerde ik rechten aan de Universiteit, van Amsterdam, soms had ik een juniorsuite tov de collegezalen in de doelenstraat. Als ik zat te ontbijten , zag ik de studenten naar binnen gaan. Vanaf mijn etage. Het restaurant was ook erg goed, en tot vandaag de dag is de kwaliteit gewaarborgd bebleven. Heel af en toe kom ik nog weleens een nachtje slapen en gebieten van al het lekkers dat het restaurant te bieden heeft.

We had an incredible stay here! The location was great as it was accessible to lots of parts of town. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and warm! They gave great recommendations for dinners and followed up all of their bookings with written confirmation. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable.
We also ate at the restaurants and the meals were delicious!
When we come back to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay here again!

Gegeten in het Italiaans restaurant was erg goed en leuke bediening

Nos hemos alojado en el hotel 4 noches durante nuestra visita a Ámsterdam. El emplazamiento del hotel es perfecto, la atención a los detalles excelente, todo los empleados son súper amables. En cuanto el desayuno muy completo y rico (especialmente lo que viene en la carta) aunque de echa en falta algo más de variedad en el dulce. Tambien muy recomendable tomarte algo en los salones del hotel, especialmente cuando hay música en directo. Las habitaciones con vistas muy bonitas, pero igual algo justas en cuanto servicio y tamaño dado su elevado precio.

Beautiful hotel and friendly team of a staff. Was glad I decided to stay at De L’Europe while visiting Amsterdam. Did not have a good experience at Conservatorium during my previous visit.
Special thanks to Head Butler Mr Roberto - he gave a tour of the hotel and facilities at check-in (he was waiting for our arrival with welcome drinks!) and helped with a special (and unusual) request ????????

After a long drive from Brussels, was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a bigger suite with a wonderful outdoor terrace and great views overlooking the canals and city. A bottle of champagne and custom made chocolates were waiting in the room ????
Housekeeping did a wonderful job and there was nightly turn down service with a little story card placed on the bed.

The hotel had many areas to explore with ample seating areas around. Loved the chandeliers, decor and the artworks on display throughout. I did spend a quiet moment in the hotel’s library ????/ reading room. Did not have time to try the spa with various sauna and steam rooms and a cute heated pool. Didn’t have a chance to try the newly opened bar or the French and Italian restaurants located in the hotel. Maybe next time!

Breakfast was amazing with a great selection for ala carte orders as well as buffet items. The service was attentive and the orders came quickly. The view at breakfast by the windows over looking the canals and streets was like a scene from a movie. There will be an occasional canal cruise going by while I was crunching down on a baby carrot ???? stick.

Location was central and I was able to walk to the attractions, shops and restaurants. About 5 minutes walk to a nearby canal cruise company and a metro stop. There’s also a supermarket across the intersection.

Concierge team was friendly and helpful with organising taxis and directions to canal cruises. Particularly loved the mints at the concierge desk - found them at the supermarket and bought a whole lot home.

Highly recommend and I will stay again when I’m back in Amsterdam.

This is what all 5 star hotels should use as an example. Our concierge has worked there for 25 years and clearly has a lot of pride in this establishment. The rooms were perfect, dinner options were 5 star, and the bar was a mixologist haven where we were able to decompress after busy days in the city. Location is very central to the major sites if you're here for vacation.
