Well, It wasnt what I expected. First the resteraunt was closed the first Day. I asked for an early check in and didnt get it. was told I would get an email when my room was ready and never did and had to call later in the day to see if I could check in. Checked in to the wrong room type. I compalianed about it and they moved me to the excat same room just on another floor. Got my invoice and I am charged for 2 nights and the room was booked with points?

Really great guest service from the two guys at the front desk when I had an issue with my reservation. They were super busy when the issue came up but they still handled everything really quickly for me!

Didn’t actually get to stay in the room as they had to put me up in their other property, but can say that the location of Sir Adam is great; right across the river by ferry from Centraal in a lively area. Fun restaurant downstairs. Looking forward to coming back!

The stay in this hotel was amazing! The room was very clean, and I loved the city view of Amsterdam. The bathroom was great, a nice big shower head. And perhaps the best of all were the surprising elevators ????

Wir haben uns leider überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war nicht besonders sauber, roch sehr unangenehm (auch im Flur) und man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen um zu lüften. Familien würde ich von diesem Hotel auch eher abraten, da es einen „party people vibe“ hat. Generell wird es dem Preis absolut nicht gerecht.

Very easy to get to (A'DAM Toren) from Amsterdam Centraal, just cross the water to Amsterdam Noord on board FREE ferry - it is well worth it (look for Buiksloterweg on ferry digital display).
I stayed at Sir Adam on couple of occasions, and recently during the period of heavily limited hospitality offerings by ruthless social distancing rules, the most challenging time for the tourists and hoteliers in modern times of no frill travel. They ace it every time. Being part of Sircle Collection, Design Hotels group and Marriott (ultimately), they reap the benefits of adhering to the best practices in their trade - guests are in good hands. Love the rooms, concrete brutalist interior and soft, cozy fabrics - music is the theme, rock 'n' roll. The Butcher restaurant and bar is fabulous venue to mingle, drink and eat. Get a bicycle rented whilst you stay in Sir Adam, and explore the Noord.

Loud construction in the Lobby that hotel didn’t communicate about prior to the arrival. Breakfast offered only a poor choice, space was small and cramped (possibly due to construction). Problems with elevators access and keys. During 1 night stay my key stopped working 4 times. I would not recommend the property, reviews didn’t match the expectations.

Wer ein Hotelzimmer mit Style sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Selbst die tollen Fahrstühle sind der Hammer. Einen Stern Abzug für das Zimmer, da man lediglich eine (leider laute) Klimaanlage hat und nicht das Fenster zum Lüften verwenden kann. Der Ausblick war auch fantastisch.
Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und die Fähre F3 fährt Tag und Nacht von der Central Station rüber zum Hotel.

What a wonderful place to stay! Booked the Sir Adam on a last minute trip to AMS. Was worried about the location and ease of access. Have to say everything about the hotel was wonderful!

Free ferry access from the central station (F3 ferry) to the hotel runs 24/7 and being across from the city means wonderful views without all the crowds. Hotel was young and fun and hip. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Got there early and were lucky they could accommodate an early check-in. Marcelina (spelling?) was so lovely and made us feel welcome. She even got us lattes to enjoy as we were getting settled.

Room was a bit small, but well appointed and they had other room options available that were bigger.

We decided to come back to AMS on our way to the airport and just booked another night here.

Unfortunately already for the third time in last year , I noticed that the matress in bed is extremly too soft.
It is provoking back pain which stays with guest long after the visit to this hotel is finished.

Despite elite status there were no perks offered. Amenities were minimal. Gym access was restricted due to nearly continuous classes reserving all equipment. And the fee to access the upper levels was disappointing. Not the experience we hoped to have in Amsterdam.

Helpful staff, great bar and restaurant, REALLY easy to get ferry from Amsterdam Centraal Station. Weekend music audible until about 11.30 but not a problem generally. Had a great stay, highly recommend.

Super convenient, just across from Amsterdam Centraal. The F3 ferry is fast and leaves every couple minutes. Easy check-in and check-out and the food was awesome at the restaurant. Will stay again!

This is a stunning Hotel. The Design and layout is very interesting and so well thought out. The breakfast was great und surprisingly great value for money. The only thing that could be improved could be the service. The service overall was very good and forthcoming but there was no appreciation of Marriott Bonvoy membership unfortunately. There was a rough explanation that the hotel is only franchised into Marriott or a partner hotel. But when marketing themselves through the Marriott app I would expect at least a little bit of interaction on that sense.

El edificio tiene una ubicación privilegiada frente al río, subir en el ascensor para ir al mirador es toda una experiencia de luces , me encantó, el mirador es de 360 ° puedes apreciar toda Amsterdam, hay un columpio increíble, mi sobrina se subió y le encantó,da un poco de vértigo pero es toda experiencia. Ahí arriba hay un bar, buena música y te puedes quedar tomando algo mirando la ciudad. Lo recomiendo.

Staying at this hotel third time was again an enchanting experience from start to finish, offering a dynamic and youthful atmosphere with an unbelievable style and modern design. The exterior design of the hotel welcomes you with its vibrant energy. Modern architecture and lively colors reflect the hotel's character. Every detail seems carefully chosen to emphasize a dynamic and youthful ambiance.

While my overall experience at SIR ADAM was positive, I must address a significant concern:
the lack of ventilation in the rooms. Unfortunately, the windows in the rooms are non-operable, leaving guests with only the option of using the air conditioning for ventilation. However, relying solely on the AC doesn't provide a satisfactory long-term solution.
