Super full of tourists taking photos of art rather than looking at it even on a weekday in April. Not enjoyable. Walked past ten staff and around galleries with my bag, told to wear it on one shoulder - no problem, then told by another to go right back to the entrance of the building and leave it at the cloakroom. Infuriating!

If you're genuinely in to dutch masterpiece paintings then of course go but try when it is quietest. It's a great collection. If you're tourist just wanting to tick off the top five things to do in the hague then don't bother. You don't need seven bad photos of the girl with the pearl earring on your phone. Just Google it or buy a postcard.

I’m glad I decided to visit on my last day in the Netherlands today. There were a lot of really beautiful paintings on display. It’s only two stories, but you can spend a lot of time looking at each painting and reading the descriptions and looking up history if you opted out of using the audio tour app as I did. It was really crowded though with the school tours going on and the Girl with the Pearl Earring painting was undoubtedly the most crowded. If you enjoy museums and like seeing these historic paintings in person, definitely make time to come to this one.

Stunning Museum in the Heart of Old Town Den Haag. We've booked tickets online.

There was not extremely many people around and we could go in 3 hours early.

Everything is cozy and not too big.

We especially loved Vermeer, Rembrandt, Breughel and hHolbein.

The exhibition is big enough to not get kids bored. We especially loved the room where a painting was restaurated and explained how it's done.

Staff was very attentative and polite and helpful in any situation.

There are extra exhibitions that were lovely too.

The museum has lockers for your clothes and bags, a very well equipped shop and clean bathrooms.

We've enjoyed our time thoroughly and will gladly come back.

En vacances en Belgique il m'a semblé incontournable de visiter ce musée et ses chefs d'oeuvres flamands. Avec les tickets, sont distribués des plans avec les représentations des oeuvres maîtresses et leur repère, impossible de les manquer, excellente initiative même si le prix d'entrée ainsi que la place de parking font un peu tousser.

A mon humble avis, un des plus beaux musées du monde et je pèse mes mots.
Non pas pour la beauté de l'édifice , somme toute modeste, ni pour la richesse des oeuvres présentées mais tout simplement parce que le Mauritzhuis renferme 3 Vermeer et une bonne dizaine de Rembrandt.
Parmi lesquels, la Jeune fille à la Perle et la Vue de Delft du premier, la Leçon d'anatomie du second. Trois chefs d'oeuvre absolus et définitifs qui à eux seuls méritent le voyage à La Haye.
