Rushel Kivu Resort est un lieu de villégiature époustouflant et serein, idéal pour les retraites familiales et individuelles. Je me creusais la tête pour savoir où emmener ma mère pour de courtes vacances lorsque mon amie m'a recommandé ce lieu. Notre séjour en valait la peine, le personnel était si professionnel, les chambres propres et rafraîchissantes, le service en chambre rapide, la nourriture si bonne, la plage et la vue sur le lac si vivifiantes, j'attends avec impatience ma prochaine visite

Rushel Kivu Resort et nous avons vécu une expérience merveilleuse ! L'emplacement du complexe sur les rives du lac Kivu offre des vues à couper le souffle. Les chambres sont confortables et propres, avec un beau balcon donnant sur le lac. La nourriture est délicieuse, avec un grand choix de plats locaux et internationaux. Le personnel était amical et attentif, nous faisant nous sentir comme chez nous. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et les installations de sports nautiques. Dans l'ensemble, le Rushel Kivu Resort offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix, et je le recommande vivement

L'endroit est favorable et on espère que la route sera prête en peu de temps à cause de l'étiquette, mais l'endroit est bon pour se reposer et se remettre les idées en place après le travail

Je n'ai jamais été traité de la sorte dans aucun autre complexe hôtelier en Ouganda. De l'équipe accueillante au bon accueil en passant par les chambres très confortables, j'apprécie Rushel Kivu Resort pour avoir rendu mon séjour très confortable

Sehr schönes Resort direkt am Kivu See.
Sehr ruhige Anlage. Ein Besuch ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Wenn möglich sollte man allerdings mit dem Boot an- und/ oder Abreisen.
Die Straße dort ist Im allgemeinen sehr schlecht.
Sie wird im oberen Teil aktuell ausgebaut.

The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained.
The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon)

Prachtig hotel met verschillende logeermogelijkheden.
De weg er naartoe is erg zwaar maar eens terplaatse is het een paradijs.Een aangelegd zandstrand is werkelijk top.Mooie onderhouden tuin.Maaltijden van uitstekende kwaliteit.

Our stay at Rushel was pure luxury. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great amenities and a nice hot shower. The restaurant serves amazing food, from delicious local cuisine to some more traditionally Western dishes for travellers missing the taste of home. The beach is beautiful and remote, and the view of the stars at night is incredible. Best of all was the staff, all of whom were attentive and kind and more than happy to make this the best stay possible. Thank you so much, we hope to return some day!!

five stars for our first night. The food was DIVINE (sambaza straight from Lake Kivu! and the dodo ...!!) and staff was absolutely lovely. one star for our second night: we were sideswiped by a wedding and our food, which we ordered around 6p, had clearly been sitting out and reheated when it was finally served around 9:30p (steak was gray and overcooked, mashed potatoes were cold, ice cream was melted....etc) With all of this being said I adored the location and the staff (Etienne and Martin were especially wonderful) and would highly recommend a weekend here when a wedding was not in progress :)

Our stay was lovely, very peaceful, fantastic views of Lake Kivu. The beach is pretty private and you can enjoy swimming in the lake, walks within the property and the neighborhood were a joy. We stayed in the standard tent which were clean, spacious, comfortable and with lovely views of the lake. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was always an extensive spread and on our last night the chef outdid himself by preparing us a roast goat dinner that was tender, succulent and delicious, this was our best meal there.
We drove from Kigali to the hotel but the last few kilometres to the hotel from Nkomero the road was in very poor condition, a 4 wheel drive is recommended or get a boat from Kibuye or Gisenyi, their website has details on all these options.

As always a great stay at Rushel! The staff go out of their way to make your stay great. Just ask and they will help including anything you need from the kitchen. Caters to different budgets from pitch your own tent to luxury rooms with balconies

Le complexe s'intègre parfaitement au paysage naturel et offre une vue imprenable sur le lac Kivu. Nous avons séjourné dans l'une de leurs tentes confortables, et la plage privée était bien entretenue avec de nombreuses activités, y compris des promenades en bateau.
Le restaurant, perché sur un terrain plus élevé, nous a permis de profiter d'une vue à couper le souffle tout en dégustant de bons plats. Le service était exceptionnel, en particulier notre serveur, Melab, qui nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous.
Le trajet hors des sentiers battus jusqu'au centre de villégiature, qui ne peut être parcouru qu'en 4x4, a ajouté une note d'aventure amusante.
