Situé à l'est de Nyungwe, ce lodge bénéficie d'un panorama exceptionnel sur la forêt et c'est bien là son principal atout. Il propose 2 tentes safari, équipées de matelas, 6 chambres en dur et 6 chalets en bois (avec salle de bains et cheminée), ainsi qu'un terrain de camping. Confort basique. À disposition également un restaurant « à la carte » de type gîte de montagne. Le lodge a un réel potentiel, mais il mérite bien des améliorations. Des travaux d'agrandissement prévoient une vingtaine de cottages au total et un deuxième restaurant panoramique.

Nyungwe Nziza Ecolodge se situe près du Parc National de la Forêt de Nyungwe, dans un endroit calme et en pleine nature. Il dispose d’un hôtel très confortable, d’un camping avec des tentes de luxe et des tentes portables, d’un restaurant, d’une boutique d’artisanat et d’un bar en plein air. Leurs chambres sont dotées d’une salle de bain avec douche ainsi que des balcons permettant de bénéficier du coucher du soleil sur le Parc national de la forêt de Nyungwe. Notons que Nyungwe Nzinza Ecolodge peut planifier, organiser et gérer de petites et grandes réceptions comme des séminaires, ateliers ou conférences d’ONG avec leurs partenaires locaux.

overpriced and average quality. We were 6 people that ate there. 5 of us were disappointed. Price is probably not high if you fly from Europe on holiday, but we all live in Kigali, and for these prices you get top quality food in the capital, not average.
The salad that came with the burger was just three slices of tomato (for those that ordered a burger)
The veggie curry - the veggies sucked, they put way too many peas - the vegetables with at least 50% peas. Two of us ordered this and didn't like this dish.
Restaurant also has no competition as I didn't find any other place except nyungwe eco village (which is alright, but doesn't look as nice).
Other than that the place is beautiful and the bonfire is lovely.
Edit: response to restaurant message. 7.5 points out of 10 on booking suggest that 25% didn't like the restaurant.
We ordered with full knowledge of which facts? That food will be average? The menu didn't say that. For the menu, we were given a simple A4 sheet, but about an hour after ordering, we saw another menu that other people had - that menu was beautiful, had many pages and had a lot of detail. Why were we not given that menu?
Waitress said food will take 1.5 hours. It took 2.5 hours to arrive.
Kigali restaurant food is much more expensive? That's not true. Many beautiful and tasty restaurants there have lower prices. This restaurant badly needs competition.
