Great hotel. Nice pool. Very friendly staff.

On a passé un bon séjour, bien servi, belle piscine et spa, belle vue sur la ville de sherbrooke!

The President is a good hotel and we've stayed there several times before, but I have to say that I'm not sure we'll stay there again. The service is good, but for our last stay, there were lots of hockey teams and it was just mayhem: kids running on every floor until 9:30pm, people screaming, loud music, access to the pool was impossible because of the number of kids already there AND parents drinking and being very loud in common areas until 23:15! Someone was even standing with their back on my bedroom door! We had to call the front desk twice to make it stop. It's not the hotel's fault, but I think that they could have handled the situation better than they did.

Another thing is I booked two rooms at the same time (same reservation number, same credit card) and thought we would have adjoining rooms, or at least rooms on the same floor. We got rooms on two different floors, which was quite inconvenient since we were travelling together.

Also, when I booked my room, I tried doing it through their website and the price was almost twice the one I got from Expedia (!), so I think this should be something to be considered as well.

The hotel is clean and well situated, but our last experience was rather displeasant so we're not sure we'll stay there again.
