The pull out couches need major updating as do the pool cues in the games room but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay for all 5 of us!

Our room was dirty when we arrived, with something that looked like toilet paper specks littered all over the bathroom and living room. We complained about this several times, and they said they would send someone in to clean, but they never did. We stayed two nights, and no one even cleaned our room at all.
It’s also impossible to get in touch with the reception by phone. There is no phone to reach them in the rooms, they gave us a phone number to call with our cellphones, which wasn’t answered a single time in our 10+ attempts.
The shuttle was hit or miss. One driver was very nice and helped us out with our stroller, the other was very unfriendly and didn’t even bother extending a hand for help me come down the shuttle while I was carrying a car seat with my infant in it.
We stayed at a family suite that was equipped with everything from A to Z, whether kitchen utensils, dishes or complimentary bath and kitchen products (no tea though, bring your own!). The room was immaculately clean, modern, the linens were luxurious, with plentiful towels, robes, etc.
Shower and bath tubs worked very well, with excellent water pressure and excellent draining.
Murphy bed was a brilliant solution to provide a great additional queen bed and to free up space during the day.
We loved the fact that the room was heated silently and that we could also use a gas fireplace. I would also like to highlight plenty of charging outlets in the sitting area. What we couldn't figure out was how to lower the heat. ????
If I were to offer a suggestion it would be to include a sealing strip on bathroom's and bedroom's French doors.
The facilities were up to par: large game room, interior pool, large outdoor hot tub.
Everything was clean and a pleasure to use.
The ski storage required asking front desk staff to lock/unlock it. Complimentary shuttle was prompt and arrived within minutes.

Es la cuarta vez que venimos a este hotel. Las primeras 3 habían sido experiencias muy agradables. Había desayuno incluido, la hacían la limpieza del las habitaciones todos los días y el servicio muy bueno
En este momento estamos hospédados y TODO MAL.
Ya no hay desayuno, te hacen la limpieza cada tercer día y tarde en el día. Y si quieres que alguien haga la limpieza un día extra te cobran 50 dólares canadienses mas impuestos, por hacer solo 1 cuarto.
El trato del personal en general es malo. que lástima porque solía ser un gran lugar
Broken BBQ being held together with duct tape. Weird red stains on the black & white sofas which we tried hard to assume wasn't blood. All non-stick cookwear was scratched and unusable.
We told the staff about the issues and were quick to respond with promising us a refund/credit for one night (which we didn't even ask for, it was offered, so we gladly accepted). Upon following up on that offer, the entire staff at Chateau Bauvallon were almost impossible to reach. When we did reach someone, they all told us to contact "Mercedes". After several voicemails and an email, we were played. Either this person doesn't exist or doesn't know how to use basic communication tools. 4 months later, still waiting for this place to fulfull their refund/credit promise. For the ghosting experience alone from the staff, do not recommend.
